Chapter 2

Eva POV

The new member was absolutely stunning, she was breathtaking in fact.

The first thing that stood out to me where her deep blue eyes they were mesmerising.

We started to flirt a little but Katie being Katie had to ruin the moment by barging into the room.

"Come on then" Jess says snapping me out of my thoughts

"Let me go get a hoodie" I say "it's fine use one of mine"

She passes me one of her hoodies and I put it on, it was massive on me as she was at least 5 inches taller than me.

"Thanks" "your welcome you look cute in it" she says and I feel a blush form on my face

We walk out her room and downstairs where we see Anna and Katie waiting.

"Is Sab not coming" I ask "no she's with cooper" Anna says

"Now come on I'm starving" Katie screeches "okay okay we're coming" I say

"I'll drive" I say walking outside

"SHOTGUN" Katie shouts and gets in the passenger side

I was a little disappointed as I wanted Jess to sit in the front with me but I didn't show it.

We arrive at Don's and go through drive thru.

"I'll pay" I hear Jess

"No no no I will" I say "no I insist"

"Eva let the girl pay if she wants to and anyway why would you say no to a gorgeous girl offering to pay for your food" Katie says and winks at Jess "Well if I'm gorgeous you must be something else out of this world even" Jess says and also winks at Katie causing her to blush slightly

For some reason I get jealous at what they're saying to each other I don't know why though surely I can't have feelings for Jess I've only just met her.

I look behind me to look at Jess and she smiles at me before passing me her credit card.

I use her card and pay for the food I then give her her card back, we then get the food and decide to eat it in the car.

"Thanks Jess" we all say "no problem"

We eat the food and then go back to the house, once we get there everyone else was back so Jess got to meet them.

I end up going upstairs to my room, I was laying on my bed scrolling through tiktok when I see Anna walk in.

"Hey Boon" "hey"

She comes and lays in my bed and we cuddle.

"So what's wrong with you" she asks "what nothing"

"Okay let me re-word what I said what's up with you and Jess" "what nothing"

"Well you seemed to get jealous earlier when her and Katie flirted and the way you look at her" she says "I don't know Boon I just met her but she is absolutely gorgeous and she's lovely and I think I might have a slight crush" I admit

"This is great" Anna squeals and sits up "is it"

"Yes you are finally moving on from Connor and with someone lovely" "Anna you're going way too quickly firstly I met her today and secondly she probably doesn't even like me" I say

"Oh come on she looks at you the same way you look at her" "that doesn't mean anything" I exclaim

"Well I think you should talk to her" she says "no I'm too nervous" "well I'll talk to her then" she says and stands up and walks out my room

"Hey Jess" I hear her say

I leap off my bed and run out my room and run straight to where Anna is talking to Jess.

"He- Hey" I say out of breath "um hi" Jess says a confused look on her face

I look at Anna and I see her trying not to laugh.

"Everything okay Eva" Jess asks "yeah I um-" "she wanted to tell you something" Anna cuts me off and I glare at her

"Oh right go ahead" "I um err" I look at Anna for help

"Why are you dumbfucks hanging out in the hallway" Katie says walking over

For once I was thankful for Katie interrupting a conversation.

"Oh I was just going to the kitchen to grab some food when I saw these two and I was just going to ask Jess if she wants to help" I say

"Sure" Jess beams "come on then"

We start walking to the kitchen and I turn around to see Anna laughing I stick my finger up at her and she laughs even more.

Jess POV

I make dinner with Eva and we sit down and eat it together.

"I'm glad your here you know" she says and I look into her big brown eyes "really"

"Yeah it's just you seem a really genuine person"

"Thanks that means a lot actually not many people would think that" I say looking down "oh really if you don't mind how come"

"I guess my height plays a factor but it's more the fact of my mental health I had really bad depression I mean I still am but it's no where near as bad as it was but I used to try and cover it up by being the happy me that everyone new me for but it didn't work I ended up pushing everyone I was closest to away and became a bit of bitch" I say and I meet her gaze once more and she gives me a small smile

"All because deep down you were hurting" she says and I nod

"Do you have to take meds" she asks "I did but I don't anymore"

Okay I may have lied but I don't need someone else constantly reminding me to take my meds like my sister and Mum do.

She grabs my hand from across the table.

"Thanks for telling me Jess I know it's a hard thing to do"

That she was very right about I sort of shocked myself opening up to her like that, I never open up to people especially not someone I've just met.

I knew I liked her from the moment I laid eyes on her but I think I like her more than I imagined.
