Chapter 3

Jess POV

"Ooh what's going on here" Katie says walking into the dining room seeing Eva had a hold of my hand

"We were um comparing the softness of our hands" I say

I look at Eva as if to go along with.

"Right okay you two are weird but out of curiosity who has the softer hand" Katie asks

"Jess does"

"How lovely right I'm off to bed night guys" Katie says "night" me and Eva say as she leaves the room

"Comparing the softness of our hands" Eva says laughing

"Oh shut up that was the first thing I could think of" I say also laughing

We finish eating and I then wash our dishes.

Eva POV

"You want a redbull" I ask "sure thanks"

I grab two redbulls and pass her one we then go upstairs.

"I'll um see you in the morning" I say "night"

I go to go in my room when she grabs my arm.

"Wait Eva" "yeah" "can I um stay with you tonight I could do with the company" she asks nervously "of course you can" her face lights up and we go in my room

We lay on her bed and we end up cuddling.

"You okay you seem upset" I say "it's just I struggle at night like in the day I have everyone around me but at night I don't know I guess I just feel alone like I have no one"

My heart breaks for Jess as I know exactly how she feels as I used to feel the exact same.

"I get it Jess I really do but just know that I'm here for you I'll stay with you every night if that stops you from feeling alone as I can't have that" "really" "of course"

She lays her head on my chest and I wrap my arm around her.

"Your a great friend Eva"

The word friend hits me hard that's all I am is a friend I knew she didn't like me why would she.

I look down to see she's fallen asleep, I lean over and turn the lamp off that was on her nightstand before also falling asleep.

I wake up in the morning and look next me to see Jess still asleep, she looked so peaceful so I decide to leave her rather than waking her.

I go on my phone and scroll through Instagram whilst I wait for her to wake up.

Eventually I hear her stir.

"Morning sleepyhead" I say "morning" she says

God her morning voice was cute.

"Have you been awake long" she asks "about an hour"

She sits up and looks at me.

"You could've got up you didn't have to wait for me to wake up" "I couldn't have you wake up alone"

"Your so cute" she says and I blush slightly

"Right I'm hungry let's go get breakfast" she says and stands up

I stand up aswell and we go downstairs.

"Morning guys" Madi says "morning"

"Do you two want to come to the mall with us today" Cynthia asks

"I can't I have meetings today" I reply "I'll come" Jess says and Cynthia and Madi's face lights up "great"

They walk out the kitchen and it's just me and Jess once more.

"Sorry I can't come to the mall" I say "it's fine me and you can go another day"

We start making breakfast when Anna and Katie come through.

"Make us some please" Katie says "sure"

We all eat breakfast and then Jess goes to get ready.

Katie also went to get ready as she was going to the mall aswell.

"So you and Jess anything happen last night" Anna asks "we stayed together last night"

"Cute" Anna squeals "well no she said I was a great friend, friend Anna" "well that's because she doesn't know you like her for all you know she likes you but doesn't think you like her so that's why she's called you her friend"

"I guess but she did call me cute this morning" I say smiling at the memory "see I don't know what your worrying about"

Jess POV

I go up to my room to get ready for the day and take my meds.

I then go downstairs and say bye.

"Bye" I say to Anna and Eva before leaving for the mall "have fun" Eva says

Last night Eva stayed with me and I was really happy about that, I feel close to her and I really like her, although I doubt she likes me.

"Let's go" Katie shouts and jumps onto my back

I run to Katie's car with her on my back I get in the passenger side and wait for Cynthia and Madi.

They get in the car and we go to the mall.

We spend most of the day at the mall we then go back and me and Katie go up to her room.

"So" she says as we lay on her bed "so what"

"You and Eva" "yeah what about us" I say

"Oh come on don't act dumb I see the way you look at her" "yes and"

"You like each other just admit it to me" "oh fine I like her" I mumble

"YESSSS I KNEW IT" she shouts so loudly the whole house probably heard

"Keep your voice down" I hiss

"YOU HAVE A CRUSH YOU HAVE A CRUSH" she sings loudly

"Please I really don't need the whole house knowing" "okay okay I'm sorry I just get excited when things like this happen" she says quieting down

"So you spoken to her about it" Katie asks "no I'm nervous I don't get why though I'm normally confident when it comes to girls"

"Well I'm giving you three weeks if you don't tell her in three weeks I will" she says

"Deal" I say and shake her hand

"Right let's get food I'm hungry"

We go downstairs and see Anna and Eva in the living room.

"Ooh look who it is" Katie whispers in my ear

"Oh shut up" I say jokingly

"Hey guys" Anna says "hey"

Eva jumps up and gives me a hug, when we pull away from the embrace I didn't realise that I was staring at her until Katie snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Jess food" "oh right yeah"

We go to the kitchen and make food.

After that I go up to my room and get ready for bed.
