Chapter 33

*One week later

Jess POV

I wake up at six AM to Eva's alarm going off.

"It is way too early" I groan

"I know but we're going to Canada" Eva says excitedly which makes me smile

I slowly get out of bed and stretch.

I grab some clothes and go and change.

As I come out my bathroom I see Eva has changed into some of my sweatpants and one of my hoodies.

"Nice clothes" I smirk "I know"

I grab our suitcases and walk downstairs.

We had said goodbye to the girls last night as we knew none of them would be up when we leave.

As we go outside I see our Uber waiting for us.

We get in and they drive us to the airport.

"I'm so excited to take you around my hometown" Eva says excitedly

"I'm excited to see it you better give me a full tour" I say "of course I have loads planned"

We arrive at the airport and check in, we then go through security which was pretty quick.

We then go to our gate and board the plane.

The plane takes off and Eva instantly falls asleep with her head on my shoulder.

I can never sleep on planes so I end up watching Netflix on my phone.

The plane lands and I wake Eva up.

"Hey baby we're here" "already that went quick" she says

"That's because you slept the whole time" I laugh

We get off the plane and go through passport control, we then go and grab our luggage.

Eva then calls an Uber and it arrives a few minutes.

We get in the Uber and Eva gives the driver the address to her parents house.

"You excited" Eva asks

"Yeah but I'm also nervous"

"Don't be my parents will love you" she says reassuringly

We eventually arrive at her parents house and Eva pays for the Uber.

We get out the car and I grab our luggage out of the car.

I then walk up the path towards the front door where Eva is standing waiting.

"Ready" she says "yeah"

Eva opens the front door and we both walk inside.

"Eva your back" I hear her mum say and she walks over

"Hey mom" Eva says and hugs her

"Mom this is Jess my girlfriend" Eva says and her mum's face breaks out into a huge smile

"Jess it's so lovely to finally meet you" her mum says and wraps me into a huge hug

"Thank you for letting me stay Ms. Cudmore"

"No need to thank us it's our pleasure" her dad says as he walks over he obviously heard what I said

"Thank you for making my daughter so happy" he says and hugs me

"It's lovely to meet you Mr. Cudmore" I say "it's lovely to meet you too Jess"

"Ahh so this is the girl you won't shut up about" Eva's sister Beth says laughing slightly and Eva blushes

"It's nice to meet you" Beth says and hugs me "and you"

I meet her other sister and then Eva shows me to her room.

"Do you want to shower first bub" she asks

"No you can go first" I say smiling

She goes and has a shower a whilst I wait I decide to post on Instagram.

Eva comes back from the shower and then I go and have a shower.

"My mom asked if you wanted to go out for a meal tonight" Eva says as I walk back into her room

"Sure"

We get ready and then go to the restaurant.

"So Jess how are you finding life in LA" Eva's mom asks

"Oh I'm loving it so far it's amazing" I reply

"That's good"

We finish our meal and then get the bill.

"Let me pay" I say

"We can't let you do that" Eva's mom says

"Please as a thank you for letting me stay"

"Mom Jess won't give up until you let her pay so I'd give up now and let her pay" Eva says and I smile at her

"Thank you so much Jess" her mom says

I pay for all of our food and they all thank me.

When we get back from the restaurant we end up playing board games.

I was having a great time with Eva's family but spending time with them made me realise how much I missed my mum and sister but my dad in particular.

After playing board games me and Eva go up to bed.

"How are you finding it so far" Eva asks as we get into bed

"I'm really enjoying it so far and your family are so nice" I say and she smiles

"I'm glad your enjoying it so far and see I told you my family would love you" she says and kisses me

She cuddles up to me and I hold her in my arms.

"Night baby I love you" I say and kiss her on the head

"I love you more bub"

I fall asleep with Eva in my arms
