Chapter 19

Eva POV

"Fuck right err Anna phone 911" "Eva they aren't going to get here in time Jess is losing way too much blood" she replies

"Wrap where her leg is cut tightly in the sweatpants next to her to try and stop the blood and I'll go get my car ready and then bring her to my car and we'll take her to hospital" Anna says calmly making me much calmer

Just then I see next to Jess an empty tube of pills I look at Anna and she looks as white as a ghost.

"She's overdosed as well as cut herself" I say tears pouring out of me "we um fuck" Anna says and I see tears fill in her eyes

"We just need to wrap her leg up and get her to the hospital" Anna says as tears fall down her cheeks

I grab the sweatpants and wrap her leg tightly.

Fuck there's so much blood.

I pick her up and then run downstairs with her.

"Fuck is she going to be okay" Cooper asks "I don't know all I know is that if we waste anymore time she's going to lose more blood" I say and run out the door

I run to Anna's car and lay Jess in the backseat , I also sit in the back and rest Jess's head on my lap.

Anna drives way over the speed limit but I'm not complaining we need Jess safe.

We arrive at the hospital and I run inside with Jess.

A nurse see's me and takes Jess off me.

"Is she going to be okay" I ask "we'll try our best to keep her here but she is losing a lot of blood and we need to get these pills out of her system"

"So she might not make it" I ask "there's a possibility she might not but like I said we will try our hardest to keep her here"

Anna pulls me into a hug and I start to cry.

"She'll make it I know she will" Anna says reassuringly but I can tell she is just as worried as me

It's been 12 hours and we've still not heard anything about Jess.

"Why aren't they telling us anything" I say pacing up and down "because they are keeping her alive for all you know Jess is in there awake right now" Anna trys to reassure me but it doesn't work

"If she was awake we would know by now" I huff and sit back down

Just then a nurse walks over to us.

"How is she" I ask jumping up "well she's now in a coma-"

"Well is she going make it" I ask cutting her off "well that we don't know"

"How do you not know that" I shout

"Hey hey hey calm down" Anna says coming to my side

"I know I'm sorry ma'am" I say "it's fine I understand I would be exactly the same if I was in your shoes" she smiles

"Do you know where her parents are or any contact details for them" the nurse asks

"Well her Mom and sister are in England obviously because that's where she comes from" "and her dad" "I don't actually know she's never spoken about him" I reply

"But I can get her phone and phone her mom and tell her"

"I would if I was you to let them know" the nurse says "okay and thank you for trying" "of course"

"Oh yes that was it do you know if she was on any medication like antidepressants" the nurse asks

"She used to be but I don't think she is anymore" "are you positive she isn't"

"I think she would've told me by now" I say "okay well we can give her a jab to try and wake her if she was on antidepressants we aren't allowed to give it to her" she says and walks away

Just then my phone buzzes and it's a call from Katie.

"EVA WHAT HAVE YOU TOLD THE NURSE" she shouts down the phone

"What do you mean"

"WELL I MEAN HAVE THEY ASKED YOU IF SHE'S ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS" "yes and I said no because she isn't" I say

"WELL THAT'S A LIE BECAUSE I'VE JUST FOUND SOME ON HER NIGHTSTAND" "fuck" I say and look at Anna to see she's heard everything

I pass my phone to Anna.

"Keep talking to her" I say as I run down the corridor looking for Jess's room.

Eventually I see her in a room and a doctor about to put a jab in her arm.

I bang as loudly on the window startling them.

The nurse that I just spoke to comes out.

"Miss we are trying our hardest to bring her round especially with this jab"

"Have they jabbed her" I ask "no they're about to"

"Don't let them she is on antidepressants my friend just phoned to say that she is on them"

"Okay well we won't give her that jab"

"Surely theres something else you can give her to try and bring her round" I say

"We can try our hardest but for now phone her mom or sister and warn them"

"I can't just call them and warn them that Jess is going to die" I say

"Eva how else are they going to find out" Anna says "I know okay we'll go home and I'll phone them wait shit what time is it" I ask

"12:03 AM" the nurse says as she looks at her clock "okay well that makes it 08:03 AM over there oh god what a way for them to wake up"

We arrive back at nach and go inside.

"How is she" Katie asks running up to us

"She's in a coma there not sure if she's going to make it"

"Why didn't she just tell us she was feeling this way" Dev says

"Probably because she felt like a burden if she did" Anna says

"I know exactly how she feels I hate telling anyone if I'm feeling down or what's going on in my mind" Anna says

"Yeah your right" Sab says

"Well I need to phone her mom" I say and walk upstairs to grab Jess's phone
