~Chloe~

It was Monday morning and for once I was the one trying to get Zoe to wake up.

"Zoe!!! For God's sake get out of bed! We are going to be late!!!" I screamed into her ears when she refused to respond to my gentle tapping on her shoulder. It was five minutes past seven and our assembly starts at exactly 8 AM, but as prefects we needed to be in school by half past seven. I was already dressed in my school uniform and I had even had my breakfast.

I just came back to get my school bag so I could be on my way out. Thank God I decided to check on Zoe, who by the way was still fast asleep despite me screaming my lungs out for her to wake up. I sighed in annoyance wondering what had gotten into her to make her sleep so deeply.

Anyway, we had twenty-five minutes left to get to school; right now, desperate times called for desperate measures even though what I was about to do was pretty stupid and could've easily ended up badly. I went back into my room, took my pet spider and dumped it on Zoe's face.

"For your sake let's hope she doesn't kill you and Mr. Petter for doing this," I said to myself. Her reaction was priceless. She flew out of bed the minute she sensed my spider walking all over her face. Screaming like a maniac she ran into her personal walk in bathroom while I searched around her room for Mr. Petter, my pet spider.

I was glad he wasn't hurt as I spotted him on the laptop on Zoe's study table. I rushed over to grab him so I could return it back to my room. By the time I was reentering Zoe's room she was all dressed up in our school uniform and was about put on her Blake wedges canvas. Once she sensed my presence in her room, she began throwing things at me to get me out of her room.

Thanks to my quick reflexes, I was able to dodge all the things she was throwing at me before getting out of her room. "And stay out!" she barked as I headed down the stairs. I checked the time: 7:23 AM. There was no use rushing any more, we were officially going to be late to school today and this time it wasn't my fault.

I whipped out my phone to take a few pictures—yes, they allow phones in my school but not during class so don't give me that look. Once I was done posting the picture on my WhatsApp status, Zoe finally graced us with her presence, the same minute Samuel Dawson responded to my WhatsApp status.

"Don't get your pretty ass to school! Be busy doing selfie there... you late comer," his message read. "I'm on my way captain obvious," I texted back and with that I switched off my data connection putting my phone in my bag pack.
