I woke the next day with a Migraine. I groaned in annoyance. I haven't woken up like this since I was 13 and that was a long time ago. But not too long since I'm only 15, I sighed getting out of bed to wander around the empty house. Yes, you read that right? Empty house.

Mom and dad left 3 days ago and I've been all by myself for the past 3 days doing absolutely nothing but staring at the ceiling all day. It's the 23rd of December and I decided I was done mopping, waiting for a miracle to happen. I mean, it could have been worse, but I am thankful it's not more than this, at least I should be thankful that dad didn't take away my gadgets and the house was well stocked with food even before the 20th of December if not, my death will be certain.

After I did a few stretches, I got to work starting up my chores first, once I was done I went ahead to make Quacker oats and warmed one of the already backed breads. I went back to my room satisfied that the house was in order. I took a long required shower to get rid of the sweat and possibly the migraine too. Thank Goodness it did the trick. All I needed was aspirin to cure the rest of my migraine.

I got dressed in joggers and a spaghetti top because even though it was terribly cold, it was also unimaginably hot. That is one of the pecks of being stuck in Nigeria during Christmas. The weather was never stable or certain. I mean one minute it's raining, the next the sun is shinning brighter than ever before and we are in raining season. It's actually way worse when it's harmattan and all it ever does is rain all day.

Well, it seems to me like the weather is having a mood swing 'cus umm, its raining... Again.

"Are you kidding? I think its safe say that the weather is on her period".

I laughed at my own comment to what my subconsciousness said. Looking out the window, I saw it was raining, heavily if I might add. Like we were in the middle of the raining season. I laughed again as I went to the coffee making machine to brew myself a cup of coffee, while I went to dish out my food. I took my food to the dinning room and ate my Quacker oats and bread with a cup of coffee in silence. While I ate, I pondered on what to do during the rest of the day. Heck! Not just the rest of the day but the rest of the month till mom and dad get back.

Not knowing what to do after breakfast which was actuality brunch, I headed to our moderate sized living room my phone and computer long forgotten in my room since mom and dad left. I turned on the Tv and decided to binge Watch Phineas and Ferb. I love that animation so much that I collect their stickers and wallpaper and designed my room with them. It was too bad that the animation ended in season 4 but, I was looking forwards to season 5 of it.

Moving on to my next favorite which was Totally spies. They were my second favorite after Phineas and Ferb and I never failed to brag about my love for the girls! I started it as soon as I was done with Phineas and Ferb and boy I was glad I chose to watch Totally spies, I wondered why they stopped making it anyway.
