A Break Finally!!! My twin sister and I have been dying for one for a while now. We finally finished our NECO exams two day ago, yes you guessed right, my sister and i were writing NECO exams in the mist of the chaos we were experiencing in our family. If we get As and Bs when the result come out it will be by the Grace of God.
Right now I was at home in my PJs having pancaked with caramel syrup and warm Tea for breakfast while Chloe who was in her school uniform chose quacker oat and pancakes. I know you probably think her food combination is weird, well that's one the things you'll come to love about Chloe. There was this one time when mom prepared coconut rice and Chloe thought it would be a nice combining Efo riro soup to it.
It was hilarious that's day because she actually tried it and found out it was a horrible combination. Mom sat her down and made sure she finished the food without leaving a single grain of rice or soup on the place. I felt pity for her though I couldn't help the laugher, i mean who really would think of such a combination.
" soo, what are we going to do with the price money."
She said speaking in whispers after taking a sip from her tea. I was quiet for a while thinking of what she said. The price money from the competition was sent to us yesterday and it was a whooping four million naira . Even the bank was shocked to see such an amount in our twin joint account, thanks God Chloe already visited the bank a day before it was sent so as to give the bank heads up. And I am glad it worked because the account might have actually been blocked if we didn't act fast. after drinking my tea and clearing my throat I spoke.
" well since the bank already knows about the money, I think it's beside we keep the Money there for now. From the way things are going in this family—"
" I know our future is uncertain, especially because we don't know who we truly are, whose kids we are"
I said and I gave her a sad smile. She sighed going back to finish her food and I did the same knowing that there are no words I could say to change how she sees the situation. We both finished our food At same time and before she could get up I spoke not knowing what I really wanted to say but I knew I had to say something so I said.
" hey Chloe. Look I, I know what I am about to say don't make any sense, and it's not going to change how you see things right now but. Hmmm for what it's worth, you're the best Twin sister I could ever ask for and if the world is, If our world is ending then I am glad it's ending with you by my side. I am so so sorry Chloe, you are my twin sister and if anything I should be looking out for you, not doing the opposite. I'm sorry, that I stood against you everytime I should have stood by you. I--"
