Kakuzu woke up to a loud thud, then a loud "ow" in Hidan's voice. He sat up and looked off the side of the bed reviling the scythe wilder on the floor. "What happened last night? I don't remember staying at a hotel." Hidan stood up and glared at him. "Nice to know you care that I fell off the fucking bed! I'm fine thanks for asking!" Hidan yelled crossing his arms while squeezing his eyes shut. "You're twenty-two and immortal so I doubt you'd be injured by falling off of a bed. Where are we?" Kakuzu asked. Hidan opened his magenta eyes, just a tiny bit. "You passed out and forced me to drag your fat-ass all the way to this fucking hotel. Now my legs will take even fucking longer to heal! And yes I did spend your money." Hidan growled as he laid back down on the bed. "Well I'm sorry. I don't see any reason for me to pass out other than exhaustion. I only see that happening because I had to carry you." Kakuzu narrowed his eyes. Hidan suddenly got a nervous look on his face that soon twisted into a look of annoyance. "It's not my fucking fault my legs were ripped off, you absolute motherfuckering bastard!" Hidan yelled, sitting up. He mumbled quite cusses and insults as he cuddled close to his partner.
Kakuzu looked over at the clock it was 600 hours (6:00 am) it was early but not too early. He wrapped his arms around Hidan pulling him close, the smaller male smiled, his arms were pined in between there body's. This was nice.
The two left a few hours later and walked down the streets. "Hidan where the hell are we?" Kakuzu asked. "I have no fucking clue." The immortal answered looking around at the large buildings as they pass. Districted by the scenery Hidan didn't see a large rock and tripped over it. "Ow! Fuck!" "Can't you stay uninjured for ten minutes?" Kakuzu sighed. "Shut up! You jack-ass!" The albino's usual pale skin was red due to embarrassment. "I'm not waiting for you so hurry up." Kakuzu stated then he began walking away. By the time Hidan stood up and dusted himself off Kakuzu was already at the end of the street. "Hay! Wait up!" He screamed, chasing after him. Hidan stopped once he had caught up to Kakuzu. He avoided eye contact, feeling upset. Hidan crossed his arms as he continued walking as the left the village.
After a few hours the two has found themselves in yet another forest. "God I hope we find a village soon. I don't want to sleep out fucking side again." Hidan broke his silence to groan and complain. "We will probably will have to." Kakuzu stated calmly. Hidan groaned dramatically. "I just wanna fucking shower. I'm all sweaty." Hidan pouted. "Then take off the sweater, idiot." This made Hidan let out an angry sigh. "Fuck no! It's really goddam cold! It's basically freezing!..." Hidan continued to complain about the weather but Kakuzu stopped listening to his insane shouting.
It was in the afternoon already, probably 300 (3:00 p.m.), meaning there was little daylight left. They'd most likely have to spend the night outside. Hidan was tired and weak, his legs felt numb, there was no way he'd be able to continue to walk for much longer. Kakuzu stopped and turned around, the sliver haired male looked at him confused. "We'll stay here for a while." Kakuzu stated as he sat down. "What?! Why?! Come on, Ka-" Kakuzu was tired of Hidan's complaining so he interrupted. "You need time to heal. You'll never get better if you keep pushing yourself and I refuse to keep carrying you." "Fine, jackass! I'm going to find a river. I need a bath and wash my clothes." He walked away still carrying his scythe. "Just don't go too far!" Kakuzu called after him. "I won't!" Hidan called back before mumbling: "I'm not a fucking kid."
He found a thin, calm river a few minutes later not too far away from his lover. He couldn't see Kakuzu but he knew where the older man was. He stripped off his clothes and dunked each pice of cloth into the river then hung them up on a nearby branch. He looked down at his body, his stitches and skin surrounding them was covered in dried blood. He stuck his scythe in the river it was deep but he didn't care. He pulled out his weapon and slowly lowered himself in the clear water. It was cold but not freezing. He let out a relaxed sigh, feeling comfortable in the river. This felt nice.
He took up a handful of water and pressed it against his face, washing the sweat off of it it. He scooped up another handful of water and did it again. He did that a few more time's until he was satisfied, then dunked his head about half way in the water to clean his hair. He thrusted his head up out of the water, the wet hair slapped against his back and neck with a wet thud. The water dripped down his back. He looked down at his hand after washing them, his fingers were wrinkled. "I was only here for a few minutes?" Hidan muttered confusion. He noticed it has gotten really dark, the sun was setting, painting the sky in pink and red.
His vision grew blurry as he suddenly felt alone. The water was freezing or at least he thought it was. He couldn't move, his legs stopped working, he wasn't able to scream, only air left his mouth. His body sank under the water, he went deeper and deeper, until he couldn't tell witch way was up. He was drowning and he couldn't even attempt to save himself. He could only think just as before. He was returning to his deep lonely hell. The darkness clung to his body pulling him farther down, away from the safety of his partner. Away from the few things that made him happy. He desperately tried to move his body, he hopelessly fought against his only muscles, but it was no use, he only went deeper and deeper.
