The two snuck out in the early hours of morning when very little people would be out. They sky barely had any colour other then a harsh pink that turned into a gentle yellowish orange, the air around them was surprisingly warm but the ground was cool. The shadows covered the dusty land very little reflected the small bit of light that the sky had given. Hidan fallowed Kakuzu tiredly, due to his sleeping problems from the night prior. They walked quietly and quickly so they didn't disrupt anyone. Suddenly they heard a familiar voice all out, it was Ino's, the girl who took Hidan's legs off of his body. It was dissent but they had time to get away. They ran. They ran as fast as they could and as silent as they could. Due to how tired Hidan was he couldn't fight no matter how much strength he gain he wouldn't be able to move so quickly, something that would put them at disadvantage.

They ran out of the town but unfortunately not unnoticed, the girl in purple had fallowed them. She wasn't planning on losing, she wouldn't run, the two would be punished for what they did to her teacher. Her anger and desperately wanted revenge was fuelling her to continue the chase. She could have stopped and she would have a better chance of survival but no. No. She wasn't giving up. She suffered a huge lose, her loved one, someone she trusted and it was all their fault.

Hidan grew tired, even though he was now more muscular there was no way he could fight he could barely hold onto his scythe. He turned his head in the direction of Ino, she was far away, they only thing you could see was her bright purple clothes. But no matter how far or close she was, it was dangerous to have her on their trail whatsoever. He turned his attention back to what was in front of them. He panted heavily, his body already wanted to stop but he could, not when he so close to freedom with his partner. He was so close.

Kakuzu pick him up and threw him over his shoulder, it slowed him down slightly but there was less risk of Hidan being left behind. He ran across the sandy land. "How do you always end up carrying me?" Hidan asked sarcastically a tired smirk spread on his face. "Shut up or I'll drop you!" He growled even though he held the smaller's body much tighter, like he would never let go. Hidan laughed oddly before it turned into a yawn. Despite the trill of the chase with someone that ripped of his legs off he had grown bored.

He looked back up at the girl, she was only a figure in the distance at that point. "You can slow down now, Kakuzu." He mumbled, soon feeling the older man slow himself and drop him. "Ow! I told you to cut that shit!" Hidan yelled rubbing his head before standing up. Kakuzu just ignored him and continued walking forward. "I can believe she fucking fallowed us, she already blew off my god-dam legs." He ground brushing himself off as he caught up with Kakuzu.

Hidan yawned a second time before arching his back to stretch. He looked back behind him, Ino was no longer visible. He turned his gaze back around to in front of him. "We need to get out of the dessert as soon as fucking possible, it dry as shit and it's sandy as hell. It's so fucking hot, I'm going to get a sun burn! It-" "I'm not in the mood to hear you complain." Kakuzu interrupted. "You never are in the mood, asshole." The albino crossed his arms glaring at the other. "Because I don't want to fucking hear it." The shorter let out a huff of air and turned his glare to the opposite direction, dirty looking nothing but sand and a pale blue sky. "Whatever, old fuck." He muttered under his breath.

By now the sun had fully risen, its heat bouncing if the sand, making the small rocks feel like a burning fire. A few small animals such as lizards wiggled around looking for their next snack as while as the birds that flew above in the pale blue sky. "God is it ever fucking hot out." Hidan whined, his attention back on Kakuzu. "No shit." The older growled. The silver haired man sighed as he pulled off his shirt, it joining his sweater in his arm. "Put your shirt back on." "Why? It's not like anyone's fucking around and it super goddam hot. It feels like a fucking oven." Hidan's signature cocky, mocking, smile suddenly spread across his face. His walk became more of a bounce as he threw his scythe other his shoulder, it balanced on his shoulder and his wrist. It was odd but then again so was Hidan. "What has gotten into you?" Kakuzu questioned, noticing the weird behavior. "I don't fucking know, I just feel more fucking hyper, I guess." He said with a shrug as he began gripping his scythe harder. A chuckle left his lips. "Should I be concerned about that?" Kakuzu asked as he watch Hidan's bouncing stop and turn back into normal walk. "I don't fucking know." He shrugged once again.

A small lizard uncovered itself from the sand to see what all the commotion was. In its investigation it was picked up by the albino. "Hay look at this little fucker." The reptile panicked in his open palm, nipping his fingers and scratching his flesh, Hidan seemed unbothered by the tiny animals attack. "You shouldn't pick up the fucking animals, you dumbass." Kakuzu sighed. Eventually the lizard calmed down and just sat and looked around the landscape, every once in a while he turned his head back to Hidan. "You think his posioness?" Hidan asked poking the creature's back. "Do you plan on eating it?" Kakuzu asked putting his hands in his pockets. "What the fuck? No." "Well, then it doesn't matter." "But the little shit was biting me." He pointed at his ring finger that was covered in bite marks. "Poison is when you eat it." He explained. "So venomous?" He questioned he's eyes not leaving the lizard. "Yes, you idiot." "Oh do you think he's venomous?" "I can only hope." "SHUT YOU MOUTH ASSHOLE!" Hiram yelled, startling a poor creature. "That things going to die of fright if you keep shrieking." Kakuzu pointed out, considered for the animal. "No." Hidan shot back. Hidan walked quietly for a few minutes, just silently staring at the tiny lizard that looked back up at him. "Can we keep the little fucker?" "No, put in down now." He demanded. "Fine!" Hidan groaned dramatically as he placed the lizard back down on the sandy floor. It happily buried itself back  in the sand as the man waved goodbye with a bored expression.
