Kakuzu was too far to be at risk of harm from the blast, it was only a small explosion, but Hidan wasn't so lucky, he was in three pieces, one of his legs was tossed onto a tree well the other two parts though sprawled out stayed relatively close together. "How the fuck would he know I was going that way? So it has to be that Nara bustard!" "Guess again!" The voice didn't belong to Shikamaru, insensitivity disproving his conclusion. The voice was feminine and the owner of the voice stood in front of him. She was definitely a teenager, her long light blonde hair was tied tightly into a ponytail. Her eyes a calming soft baby blue but full of rage. Her hands balled up in fists ready to tear his flesh right off his body. "Yeah. I have no real idea on who the fuck you are." Hidan said in a bored monotone voice. The young females face went red with anger, she was beyond annoyed. "I was one of the students of Asuma-sensi!" She yelled, her tone of voice demanding. "Oh right. I'm pretty fucking surprised you knew I'd be come this way." Hidan laughed. "I just knew you'd be so stupid to come this way." She smirked. Hidan kept his emotionless face on, seeing through her lie. "No the fuck you didn't you were just risking it. It was pure luck." Hidan said moved his one arm, still holding onto his scythe, pushed him up so he was leaning on a tree. He spat out a thimble full of blood on the grass, as he studied her face. She was definitely pissed and he was trying his best to not smirk.

She pulled out a kunai knife and held it to the albino's throat. "If that little fucking knife is supposed to scare me then you're somehow dumber then you look! I'm fucking immortal!" He laughed in her face. "Yeah but Kakuzu isn't here too protect you, Hidan." "Oh you remember our names! Too bad you're so fucking forgettable!" He remained calm but on the inside he was panicking. "SHUT UP WITH YOUR STUPID ASS COMMENTS!" She yelled as she pushed the knife harder against his neck drawing blood. "My name is Ino! Remember it! Because it's the name you'll be screaming when you're begging for mercy!" She yelled trough her teeth. "One get the fuck out of my face and two try me." He smirked. "I'm going to rip out apart!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Just before she slushed off his head an arm rushed past her, forcing her to dodge it. She ran until she was no longer able to be seen. Kakuzu grabbed all of Hidan's parts and quickly sewn him back together. He tossed the freshly sewn body over his shoulder and ran. The smaller body began to shake trying to hold in laughter. "Stupid bitch." Hidan wheezed, his grip tightening around his scythe.

After a few more kilometres Hidan began to get upset. "Put me the fuck down! I can walk on my own!" Hidan yelled angrily, crossing his arms. "We both know your legs are too weak for that." Hidan growled and mumbled cusses under her breath. The sun already began to set, the painted a orangish pink, the clouds a reddish black and the shadows would soon cover the grass blanketed ground. The stars would soon show their bright shining faces to the dark world. Kakuzu held on Hidan's waist tighter as he began to speed up, wanting to get out of the hot water nation by the morning.

"Kakuzu you said I wouldn't get hurt. Kakuzu." Hidan said, a sad tone took over his voice suddenly. In fact he sounded like he was about to cry. "Kakuzu. I-" "I know, Hidan. I know. I'm here. Don't cry, ok? I'll won't let them hurt you again." Kakuzu interrupted. Hidan clung to the fabric of his own sweater, trying not to cry over, in his own opinion, absolutely nothing. His legs felt stiff, and uncomfortable, he hated it. He didn't expect to get so tired so quickly, it annoyed him. Normally he would ran for hours and hours but he was weak, he had significantly less muscle mass then he had almost a year ago. He felt stupid and embarrassed, though it helped because Kakuzu wasn't able to see his red, wet, face. His eyebrows twitched as while as his cheeks. He bit his bottom lip. He felt so humiliated, he wanted to hide himself away forever, never to be seen by the rest of the world ever again.

Kakuzu finally stopped running, it was replaced with a slow walking pace, there was no real reason to waist anymore much needed energy. He repositioned Hidan so that he was being carried bridle style. He hide his face in his sweater well trying to hold his scythe comfortably but there was no real way to do it. Kakuzu grabbed the scythe and tied it to his back, he watched Hidan using both of his hands to pull the sweater over his face. He heard him began to sniffle, he carefully kissed Hidan's nose, witch he still trying to cover up. Kakuzu let out a sigh, the sun was already at horizon, they only had around an hour of daylight left before they'd be covered by darkness.

After a few minutes Hidan had finally calmed down. There was no one around thankfully but the world around them was becoming dark. Kakuzu didn't want to risk getting caught by Ino, so he placed Hidan down and grabbed some branches and twigs for firewood and released on of his hearts from his back. He lit fire and pulled Hidan into his lap. He wrapped his arms around his waist to hold him there, he placed a few kisses on Hidan's cheek.

Hidan looked over at the heart that sat staring at the fire it created. The heart creature looked back at him, it crawled over to him and rested at his legs. The albino squirmed out of Kakuzu's hold and hugged the heart creature, it nuzzled into his warm cheek. Kakuzu rested his chin on his closed fist as he watched them interact with each other. The mask looked over at him then back at Hidan then back to Kakuzu. Hidan grabbed its paw and pulled it onto his chest where his heart was, it looked down at him, it enjoyed the feeling of Hidan's heart beating, it placed its other front paw right beside then other one so both little paws could feel the beating origin. Kakuzu smiled at the heart's new found fascination with his lover. The mask pushed on Hidan chest harder, then it slid down to his arm, then his neck, when it felt Hidan's pulse it got exited then move back to his heart. It seem to be trying to find all of Hidan's heartbeats, soon it located all of them. Then it banged its paws on the ground joyfully.

The heart creature pushed its masked nose under Hidan's chin, requesting more cuddles, witch Hidan willfully provided. The creature snuggled back into the albino's hold. Then it looked at Kakuzu then back at Hidan. The heart creature pushed Hidan towards Kakuzu, then rested its body beside the two.
