Hidan woke up in the dead of night, there was no light, no light to cling onto. It was as dark as it was back when he was in the hole. But he wasn't in the hole, in fact he felt as if he was right above it, he felt like there was a lack of space beside him, like there was just air and a hole, a lonely, sorrowful, painful hole. He was scared but it felt as if he was pinned to the soft ground that he was on. He felt like he was stuck in his own skin, his bone moved but his muscles remain still. He hated it. The ground was soft and warm like a twisted comfort, he hated it but he was stuck as if the earth herself was holding him still. Silent, warm tears slipped out of his eyes, but he didn't notice. He began slipping off the ledge, falling into his grave, he tried to scream and beg for help but nothing came out, like rocks were crushed his chest. Hidan couldn't move or stop his painful demise. He didn't want to go down there, he didn't want to be buried alive, not again, not ever again. It felt like hell, a hell he never wanted to face again. He wanted to be safe, next to Kakuzu. The darkness trapped him in a disturbing and claustrophobic space as he fell to where the hungriest bugs lived. He finally fell as if the ground he laid on collapsed beneath him. He he groaned as he fell in the emptiness and landed on his bad arm with a loud thud. The sudden noise woke Kakuzu up, who quickly got out of bed and flipped on the lights, the light hurt his eyes for a few seconds. He saw Hidan laying on the floor, he didn't move as if he was paralyzed. Kakuzu very carefully picked him, and slowly placed him on the bed, crawled into bed with him, this time keeping him by the wall. He held the smaller body close to his chest, keeping him safe.

Hidan was soon able to move again his hands slide around the larger mans torso. Tears stopped leaking out of his eyes, he was able to move again, but he didn't. He didn't want to push Kakuzu away, he wanted to stay close to him. He started to calm down, he felt better and protected, like nothing bad will ever happen to him ever again. He fell asleep soon after, the gentle pitter patter of rain against the window assisted in helping him drift off into a much better place. His breathing slowed as well as his heartbeat so Kakuzu knew that he was truly asleep, with a sigh Kakuzu sat up and starched. He looked over at the smaller male's resting frame, his side slowly rose and fell as he inhaled and exhaled, quite mutters left his lips, just barely loud enough to be a whisper.

This pattern repeated for a week and a half, Hidan woke up in the middle of the night, often falling of the bed, and needed to be calmed down. The two were usually tired but not to the point of exhaustion, though if this behaviour continued it the lack of sleep would effect them even more. Hidan already couldn't feel anything with his fingers and his hands felt slightly numb witch annoyed him, especially since he couldn't use he's arm. Kakuzu just had begs under his eyes since he got more sleep but he had slower reflex's witch isn't good if the way you make money involves stealing. Akari woke up some of the time due to the thud but it would only make her cranky in the morning.

The albino was lost in thought when he heard Akari clear her throat dramatically, catching his attention. "What?" He asked rubbing his eye with his wrist. "I told you to go weigh yourself, dumb-ass." She spat. "Oh sorry." Hidan yawned, then slowly made his way to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror, he had definitely gained weight, in fact he looked like he was a normal weight. He stood on the small scale. "100 pounds." He read. Not the ideal weight at all but definitely a lot better. He left the bathroom with a wide smile on his face. "100 fucking pounds!" Hidan yelled, suddenly feeling an energy boost. Akari let out an exaggerated "whooo" and punched the wall in a joking way. Despite her old age she was always energetic, definitely not the housewife type she said she was when her husband was alive, it surprised most people but to Hidan that's what just made Akari, Akari.

"I guess you have too leave soon, huh?" Akari crossed her arms as she sat down. "Yeah, I guess." Hidan mumbled sitting across from her. "The same dumb-ass baby bird leaves my nest twice. Feels weird." She rested her chin on her knuckles, looking at the window. "I don't wanna go." Hidan whined. "Aren't you going soft?" She mocked sticking out her tongue. "Aren't you going too die so?" Hidan questioned in the same tone pointing at her. Akari busted out in laughter, almost falling off her seat. "That's true, not everyone can be immortal." She stated cleaning her glasses with her sleeve. Hidan nodded agreeing with her. He'd be sad when she left but she was faithful to lord Jashin so she'd surely be safe and loved in the life after death, so he'd smile and wish her luck in seeing something that he would never get to see. "I'm sure our lord will be proud of the shit you've accomplished in you life. Ask lord Jashin to forgive me for falling in love with a fucking sinner." Hidan chuckled. "I'll put in a good word. But before I go, you will visit me again, right?" Hidan nodded. "Sure why the hell not?" He said resting his head on the table, he told himself he was just resting his eyes but Akari heard his dream after an half hour.
