The footsteps walked closer and continued walking as the person past them. Kakuzu grabbed Hidan and slowly opened the door. He carefully pulled Hidan out. The two looked in the direction the person went in, however due to how heavy the fog was they couldn't see them. They had no idea if it was a good idea to leave or if it was safe enough to stay, so they just walked in the opposite direction.
Very few were outside and none of those how were seemed to noticed who the two were. The information hadn't been told to this village, they had no idea serial killers were out and about in their village. As long as the footsteps didn't belong to Ino they were safe but there was no way of knowing without getting close and that was a risk barley worth taking. The cons outweighed the pros in that situation, so it was stupid to even check the possibility.
Kakuzu listened for the footsteps witch had seemed to stop. If they weren't being chanced there was no point in wasting energy, so he grabbed Hidan by his hood witch chocked him slightly. The moment Kakuzu let go he received a glare from the albino. "Fucking what?" He questioned while rubbing his throat. Kakuzu sighed as they began walking at a slower pace. "I swear you somehow get dumber every day and it's astounding." He muttered. Hidan's eyes narrowed even more. "Well fuck you too, asshole!" He yelled angrily through his teeth. "Shut the fuck up." He older growled back. Hidan crossed his arms and throw his head in the opposite direction. "Fucking fine then, you greedy old bustard." After that the shorter man was slight for a moment but you could almost taste his anger and frustration hanging in the air. "God why can't that fucking bitch leave us the fuck alone?" He muttered, his head turning behind them trying to see if he could find the girl but due to the fogs thickness all he could see as whites and grays.
After a few minutes of searching for her he turned his head back around. He let out a sigh. "Come on." Kakuzu grabbed him as he brought him closer to the rail that would protect people from falling into the deep water. "What the hell are you doing?" Hidan gripped his arm with the one that wasn't being held. "Don't tell me you had already forgotten how to control your chakra because I'll leave you to drown." "Of course I didn't forget that, you goddam old-ass mother fucker!" He shot back, allowing his body to be gently lowered on to the calm water by the man who he had just insult, though Kakuzu would much rather drop him and let him sink. The fog was much heavier, the strong smell of salt was irritating to the nose and if looking from it it at its surface one couldn't see its bottom, the blue just got darker and darker until it became black. The two walked across the waters.
The sound of water splashing behind them grabbed their attention just before kunai flew past them of slashing Hidan's cheek and another barely missing Kakuzu's knee. "I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE, SHOW YOURSELVES!" A females voice screamed out, her voice was easy to recognize, it was Ino's. "FUCKING CHRIST WHY DON'T FUCK OFF!" Hidan yelled back, he was pissed. "Shut up Hidan!" Kakuzu punched him on the back off the head. "Ow!! Your also an asshole." Hidan muttered, rubbing the area that the larger man had hit.
By now a figure had formed in the fog. It appeared if they wouldn't come to her she'd go to them. "I'm going to kill you!" She yelled jumping at the albino welding a kunai. He dodged and grabbed his scythe by its rope. "You can't kill me and even if you could-" He swung his scythe by it's rope, she doges but left herself vulnerable long enough for the man to grab his weapon by both it handle and it's top and shoved it's blades toward her. She barely had enough time to stand up properly and stop the attack. "- even if you could, I'd kill you first!"
She pushed the weapon in between its blades trying to keep it from ripping off her fingers. She was pushing it towards him while Hidan was pushing it to the side. She only had the scythes slippery metal handle to grip, she knew if she made one mistake it would be her last, she couldn't pull away to early, all it took was a drop of blood. If Hidan did get so much as a drop of blood he could pull away and find stable ground then it's over. She barely got any sleep the past few week she was exhausted already and her begs shown it. She watch as Hidan twisted smile grow wider, he knew she was tired and less aware. Her eyes grew bigger as she looked around. "Where's Ka-" Before she could even finish her sentence, Hidan pulled his scythe in the opposite deracination making her lose her grip, it slide out of her hands and she was hit in the head by the blunt side of a blade, making her dizzy. Hidan lifted his scythe above his head, his smile was so wide all of his gums were visible. He swung down forcing Ino's clustered mind to move her body without thinking. She jumped backwards and into somethings arms. It felt like threads and it was strong, there was no way she could get out of its grasp. She knew know the fight was over and she has lost. "I'm sorry Asuma-sensi." She whispered before she felt stinging electricity shoot through her body as it began to heat up.
The electric mask watched as the girls body as it sank father and farther down into the abides that was beneath them. The last few air bubbles that were still in her had come to the surface and popped.
