Kakuzu pulled Hidan out of his grave. Hidan had become traumatized and is scared of being alone. And if things seem to be too cutesy, try not to get used to it. ;)

Kakuzu woke up before the younger. He moved the dark blue curtain. The outside was wet and looked cold, Kakuzu had a coat but Hidan didn't have anything warm like that. Kakuzu looked down at Hidan, who was still sleeping and decided to go get him a jacket or something similar, leaving Hidan alone in the room.
He wasn't wrong when he thought it was cold, in fact it was freezing. The rain hadn't returned from last night but the everything was still wet. Most stores were closed only three were open, he bought a sweater, it was too big for Hidan at least currently but he'd hopefully quickly grow into it. As he walked back to into the hotel, he thought of his life with Hidan before they "died", the yelling, the violence, the threats. He regretted it the way they hurt each other. As he entered the building he was suddenly hit with an odd feeling of dread, something most definitely wasn't right. He ran up the stairs, not taking any chances with Hidan. When he opened the hotel's door, he heard sobbing while Hidan was on his side, desperately clenching onto the curtain. He seemed afraid and paralyzed, his hair was thrown everywhere, his body was shaking and his voice was weak. Kakuzu calmly kneeled by his side, holding the smaller male in his arms, snapping the immortal out of his panicked state. Hidan was the panting, he was afraid of something, something Kakuzu just couldn't see. He stood up and carried him in a piggy back but in the front, he placed Hidan on the bed. Hidan still held onto Kakuzu, as if letting him go would leave him in unbearable darkness. Hidan's body was shaking as he sobbed.
After a few minutes Kakuzu calmed Hidan down though he was still shaking. The albino looked down at his pale, skinny hands even though he still couldn't see yet. "Kakuzu, i-is that fuck-fucking yo-you?" He asked fearfully, as if he wasn't sure. "Yes, Hidan, it's me. Calm down." He said as he cupped Hidan's cheeks, letting him know he was right there. Hidan's eyes became half lidded as his body stopped shaking. The two sat there holding each other for a few minutes, Kakuzu's hands wrapped around Hidan's tiny waist. Hidan buried his face in Kakuzu's chest, feeling so much safer in his lovers strong, caring arms. "Hidan we have to go now. I'm sorry, I know you're upset right now but we have to go." Hidan bit his bottom lip, the fragile skin broke under his sharp teeth, a small drop of blood slid down his chin.
Kakuzu sighed and threw Hidan the fluffy sweater, it fell in front of him. He covered himself up with the sweater. It was much too big for him, his hands were hidden in the sleeves, the hood went to the middle of his back, the end of it was at his knees, and the bottom half of his face was covered. The red sweater was baggy but warm and comfortable. He looked a lot more smaller in the sweater. He looked adorable, child like, harmless even though he was a murder, he just looked innocent and pure. The two left the hotel, Hidan's hood covered his eyes but he was still blind so it didn't matter. Kakuzu held the younger's hand so he didn't get lost. The wind blew roughly and the rain's water blanketed the ground, there breath turned into white clouds. "Man, it's fucking freezing!" Hidan mumbled under his breath. "That's why I got you the sweater, dumbass." Kakuzu said calmly. Hidan's hand tightened around Kakuzu's cold hand, a warm smile spread across his face but his mind was elsewhere, his thought's squirmed unwelcomingly in his skull. Fear clawed at his brain, screamed its disturbed message in the one place he can't hide from it's untrue words. He felt cramped, a heavy weight crushed his entire body, he was dizzy, he felt like this wasn't real, like Kakuzu wasn't actually there, holding his hand, keeping him safe. Was Kakuzu here, was he here or was he still in the hole. "Hidan? The fuck is wrong you?" "What?" He asked as he was ripped out his thoughts. "I asked what are you thinking?" "Nothing really, I guess." "What a way too not make me worry." Hidan laughed. "Calm down I'm just dicking around."
Soon the monstrous wind was tamed, becoming a soothing breeze, the water dried up but the sun continued to hide. They left the village and into an open field. Hidan played with his hair witch was knotted, twisting and twirling the strands between his boney fingers. "You're still worried about you fucking hair? At a time like this?" Kakuzu said lowly. "Well.. I-I. don't know.. um. How.. do you like it?" Hidan stuttered, with the usual one-hundred yard stare. "Why are you asking me?" "I don't fucking know anymore. I just.. shit." Hidan couldn't think straight at the moment, one confusing thought after another, it seemed to be a never ending thread of pain. Kakuzu stopped for a moment and looked around, taking in there surroundings. The area was somewhat isolated but a village could be seen in the distance, a boarder into a different nation, witch was a good sign, but they couldn't tell witch one it was and the threat of war would make this difficult. "Kakuzu why the hell aren't we moving?" "I'm wondering if it is worth running into a different nation." Hidan tilted his head in confusion. "Why wouldn't be?" "Well there is a threat of war against all the nations." "What? Against who?!" The immortal yelled. "Shut up. We're going to get caught. The akatsuki." Kakuzu answered. "But I thought you said that the nine tails brat got Pein." Hidan's eye brows knitted together. "I know. I don't understand it either." Kakuzu muttered. "That's fucking annoying." Hidan whined. Kakuzu let out a hum of agreement while nodding his head.
"Hay Kakuzu?" Hidan asked after a few more minutes of silence. "Yes?" "What kind of day is it today?" Hidan asked the man walking in front of him. "It's cloudy but not as damp as before." He replied. Hidan smiled once again, wondering how it looked, he could kind of see but it was too blurry to make out anything but colour. The birds squeaked and the bugs hummed out to the calming sounds, the two males felt relaxed. They came across a river, witch Hidan almost fell into. The older decided it was it was time too take a break after walking for hours. Hidan played with the tall, untouched grass similar to how he played with his hair while Kakuzu stared at the rushing water, wondering where was it going, where was coming from, there was no way to find out unless they fallowed it but since it wasn't in there way there was, no reason to waist time to do that. Hidan's stomach growled. "I'll be right back. Stay here." Kakuzu ordered as he left. He groan while starched, arching his back with his hands behind his head.
He heard whispering it sounded like a teenager, talking to themselves. "Who the fuck is there?!" He asked in a loud, demanding voice as he stood up. He got no response, witch pissed him off more. "Answer me dick hole!" He yelled. He heard running in the other decoration. He couldn't chase after them for obvious reasons, so he just growled as he sat back down with his arms crossed. He listened out for anyone, after what felt like hours he heard footsteps come towards him. "Kakuzu that better be fucking you, jackass!" He called out. "Why wouldn't it be?" Kakuzu asked, raising one of his eye brows. "I think I've gone insane." Kakuzu sat beside him. "What makes you say that?" Kakuzu asked as he placed a dead rabbit and some sticks down. "No real reason." Hidan said, feeling like an idiot. "Alright then." Kakuzu sighed, as he put the sticks in a tepee like shape and set it on fire. He stabbed the rabbit's corpse. Hidan leaned on Kakuzu's shoulder, with a smile.
