It was time to leave the motel and Hidan was finally able to poorly walk but unfortunately he was still blind. Hidan was holding hands with him but still he was tripping and stumbling. The long road was thin and they didn't know where they going, so it was even more dangerous. Hidan's heavy scythe was in Kakuzu's right hand, since Hidan was much too weak to carry it. Hidan's left hand was toying with his hair, witch he was still nervous about. "Maybe I should pretend to be a girl, that way we could fucking hide better. You know like a cross dresser and shit." "You mean like Deidara." Kakuzu joked, making Hidan laugh. "That wouldn't be a bad idea though." Kakuzu chuckled at the thought of Hidan in a dress.

Hidan grabbed Kakuzu's muscular arm in a hug-like hold, grabbing his attention. "Kakuzu, I can't walk anymore, please carry me." He whimpered. Kakuzu sighed and picked Hidan up, carrying him bridal style, with the scythe carried by his threads to it was attached to his back. Kakuzu genteelly kissed Hidan's pale forehead, making him smile a sweet smile and nuzzle into Kakuzu's chest. "I fucking love you, you know." "I missed you so much." He replied. He only now noticed how heavy Hidan has gotten, possibly 90 pounds much better then before in the beginning of the week. "I missed you too. I'm going too sleep now, ok?" Hidan said shutting his eyes. He fell asleep pretty quickly, his sleep schedule was fucked, at the beginning of the week he sleep too much and at the end of it he rarely slept. His body was being put threw a lot of changes very quickly, in things like weight.

Kakuzu began walking faster feeling uncomfortable and nervous, he just couldn't help it. He and the man he was holding were wanted criminals, murderers who had killed millions. If caught they're lives were going to be hell. He tried to calm down, focusing more on his lover, though it barely helped, he still felt uneasy.

There was no real path anymore, just endless wondering. The forest was lighten up but they were out in the open, they could be seen fairly easily. He could be killed fairly easily, witch would leave Hidan's fate unknown. The short dying grass crunched under his feet, making footprints behind him, a path that could be found easily. The forest's trees had luscious green leaves that hid the branches but couldn't hid them. Kakuzu was unsafe, he could be killed. His lover was in danger. It was nerve racking. A gentle breeze flew past them making the trees branches shiver and there hair sway in front of them. It was quite but it not silent, the birds chirped and the wind sang, but it wasn't the most comfortable of noises, he was so on edge every sound made him jump. Hidan's faint mumbling was what he decided to focus on, it was familiar and Kakuzu knew where it was coming from.

He felt tired and sat down leaning on a tree holding the younger, keeping him in his lap, noticing his skin was still thin but it was getting thicker. He felt a sense of calmness, something he hadn't felt for a up to a year. Kakuzu felt Hidan snuggle into him, making him smile. He sat up his knees, pushing Hidan closer to him. It gave him the illusion of protection, Kakuzu felt like he was keeping Hidan safe. He looked down at the scythe that laid beside him, it once shined unless was caked in blood, now it was dirty and dulled. The rope was cut, its blade was somewhat shattered and the bandages were rotten and yellowed. The handle was broken, it had random areas it was just thin, sharp, broken, twigs.

The wind had worsened and became stronger. Kakuzu sighed standing up, he picked Hidan up, tying the scythe to his back and continued to walk in the deracination they were going. The clouds became dark, meaning it was going to rain soon. A few droplets of water fell from the sky, the cold water woke Hidan up. As the rain got harder, Hidan took off his shirt and placed it Kakuzu's head, to help keep him dry. Kakuzu ran, trying not to slip on the wet grass.

The two found a hotel that they could stay in. The room had one bed, a fridge, a bathroom and a single window that didn't have any curtains. It was cramped but it protected them from the rain, so it was worth it. Hidan sat on the bed, his hair was dripping wet and framed his face. The soaked shirt fell into the carpeted floor with a damp, slushy, thud. The rain softly pounded on the window as like someone was tapping on the glass with their nails and the wind bawled like a lost child wanting their mother.

Both of the two males just wanted too go to bed but first Kakuzu made Hidan eat. There was cheep ribs in a restaurant attached to the building, so they got changed in what little clothes they had and left. The ribs dripped with sauce and was large. The texture was rubbery and the taste was more like chicken dipped in a cheap barbecue sauce but Hidan enjoyed it. He ate with a big grin on his face and both left with a full tummy's. They cuddled in the creaky, aged, bed and snuggled under the covers. As they slept the poring rain slowly faded into nothing.
