Kakuzu pulled Hidan out of his grave. Hidan had become traumatized and is scared of being alone. And if things seem to be too cutesy, try not to get used to it. ;)

After three days of doing nothing but sitting and waiting, Hidan's legs finally began to heal. Kakuzu cut the threads off of his chest and his thigh then left the tiny strings abandoned on the ground.
Hidan wrapped his arms around Kakuzu's elbow wanting to stay close to him. "What the hell are you doing now?" Kakuzu asked. Hidan shrugged his shoulders as he held on tighter, he didn't know why he did it other then the wanted to be closer. The older put both of his hands in the pockets of his jacket, his fingers fidgeted with the metal coins and thin crinkled papers. The jiggling noise of coins slapping together annoyed Hidan. "Fucking stop, that's really goddam irritating." He growled. "Shut up." Kakuzu glared at him. The two glared at each other staying quiet as they walked, the only sound that broke the silence was the clanking of coins. Hidan let go of Kakuzu's arm and crossed his own arms across his chest. A loud huff of air shot out of him singling he was mad. Kakuzu just continued to play with the coins in his pocket, completely forgetting about the small stacks of rectangular papers as he annoyed his boyfriend.
Hidan let out another empty huff of air as he once again attaching himself back on his arm. "I thought you were angry at me." "You're goddam right I am!" Hidan yelled. "When people are mad at someone they don't typically hug that persons arm." Kakuzu voice was calm, monotone even. "Shut up!" Hidan screamed but he didn't let go of his arm. The coins continued to make its noise, Hidan growled once again. Hidan calmed down soon after but only because he realized the fight was for nothing.
Kakuzu suddenly slowed down and fell on the gound on his hands and knees. "You're not going to pass out on me again, are you old man?" Hidan asked jokingly but his joking mood soon ended as he realized Kakuzu was groaning in pain. He dropped to his knees in front of his lover. "Hay? A-are you ok, Kakuzu?" Hidan's voice was dripping with worry as he repeated Kakuzu's name. "Sh-shit!" Kakuzu clinched his ribs. The fire mask left his back. It squirmed around violently as if it was trying to get away from someone. Its body thrashed around in fear. "What the fuck is going on with it?" Hidan asked quietly, he couldn't make his voice go any higher. He just watched the poor creature in bewilderment and concern. "My body is rejecting the heart. It's going to die temporarily." He answered still on the ground. Hidan looked back at the frightened creature. It fell on the dirt, it's thready body spread everywhere. Hidan picked up the long string, he just stared at it in confusion and hurt.
A pain filled moan grabbed his attention, Kakuzu was still on the ground. He gently placed the black thread on the ground, as if it was still alive. He ran to his lover and tried to pull him up. "Get the mask." Kakuzu said weakly. Hidan nodded and rushed to get the mask, carefully avoiding stepping on the threads. The mask sat in the middle of its tangled mess of a body. He picked up the mask off its detached body, there was no head beneath it, just black strings. He handed the mask to the larger man, who tied it to his back. Hidan put his arm under Kakuzu to help him walk. "I fell like I'm going to faint again." Kakuzu said weakly. "Don't you fucking dare, you old bustard! There is no way in hell I'll be able to carry your fat ass again!" Hidan yelled. "Don't yell in my ear, idiot." Kakuzu growled. "You're lucky I fucking love you." Hidan growled. "My legs are going to be so motherfucking sore after this. I can't goddam fucking believe.." Kakuzu sighed as Hidan continued his rambling of complaints. He remanded quiet, trying his best to stay conscious. He slowed down significantly and clenched his stomach in pain. He let out a weak groan, grabbing Hidan's attention. "You ok, buddy?" He asked concerned for his lover. "O-obviously not, f-f-fucking idiot. J-just get us t-to a hote-hotel. I ne-need re-rest." Kakuzu stuttered still clenching his stomach. Hidan nodded and speed his pace up. He wanted to find a village or at least a place to stay the night.
It was still early in the morning so there was a lot of hope. Unfortunately due to Hidan's legs he can't walk too quickly nor for too long and Kakuzu wasn't going to stay awake much longer. It was hope wrapped in unfortunate circumstances. It was irritating.
Kakuzu became limp, he couldn't walk anymore so it was up to the smaller, much weaker to carry him. Hidan's legs felt like he was walking on hot coal. His feet felt like they were bleeding, his arms felt like they were going to snap off. His head spun rapidly, he panted as he fought against his body that begged him too stop. He refused to give into his body's desperate pleas for rest. Kakuzu had know fainted, Hidan growled in frustration. "O-of course th-that motherf-fucker is a-a fucking slee-p." Hidan complained to himself. He remained his speed despite what his body screamed. He couldn't walk anymore. He saw a village as his vision became blurry. "Come on." He growled. "I'm so goddam close. J-just a little more. D-dammit.." His voice became quieter and quieter. His eyes closed, his breathing slowed. He was exhausted... too exhausted... he was way too exhausted. It got dark. His brain felt fuzzy. He couldn't move a muscle. He passed out only in the woods outside of the village.
Kakuzu woke up on a futon on a carpet floor in a living room. A love seat sat beside him with Hidan sleeping on it. The blankets were tossed around, not even on him or the love seat itself. Hidan's constant nightly babbling told him he was still complaining even in his sleep. The man twisted and turned in his unconscious state. He heard footsteps.
