The two entered a hotel that sat close to the lake. "Welcome!" A man shouted. The man had dirty blonde hair and pricing emerald green eye. His uniform was a blue vest over a black suit. His yellowed teeth held an unlit cigarette between them. His chapped lips were pull up into a smile.  "What can I do for you?" He asked as he pulled out a lighter and held to the end of his cigarette. "We just looking for a room." Kakuzu answered as the man began to hack and cough. "Sure. I'm pretty sure room 18 is open, just don't be kicking and screaming to loud, got it?" He replied, waving the smoke out of his face. The two men nodded and walked up the stairs and towards the hotel's rooms.

The hotel was nice-ish or just well looked after. The hallways were bland to hell but there wasn't a single speck of dirt. A large window covered in fingerprints sat at the end of the hall beside there room, it overviewed the land beside the lake but not much else. Inside the room there was a bed in the far left corner of the room, a chair that lend on a blank wall, and a dresser that was positioned beneath a small window. Hidan lend on the window sill and looked through to see the lake. He noticed the fog had lightened now, a few kid began playing in the water, unknowingly playing in someone's death bed. "The fogs clearing up." He muttered looking over at the older man who was at the desk already counted his money. Hidan scoffed and placed his bloody scythe on the black carpeted floor before throwing hisself on to the and looked up at the textured ceiling. "Come on lay down with me!~ You can count your shitty money tomorrow, there isn't anyone after us." Hidan said smirking, patting the empty space on the bed beside him. "The attorneys." "Well the attorneys have yet to catch us." Hidan said smugly. Kakuzu sighed as he shuffled his money into a neat stack and laid beside the smaller male, who waisted no time in snuggling him.

As the older man wrapped his arms around him. The smaller suddenly felt sad and lonely as if he'd miss this but he already had had it. It was odd so he tried to hide it but Kakuzu noticed. "What's with that face?" Hidan blinked a few times before quickly shaking his head. "Nothing I'm just tired but when we're done here can we go visit Akari again?" Kakuzu sighed. "Maybe some other time, we're still being hunted weather there any good or not we shouldn't risk anything." "Yeah yeah whatever." Hidan muttered cuddling even closer to Kakuzu.

He decided to let sleep overcome him, smiling happily but sleep that night was the biggest mistake of his life because he woke up. He woke up in the very hole he thought he had excepted. It was all a dream and each time he felt trapped in the hole in it was a time he woke up. He released that he was knocked out for much longer most likely years and was much more heavily decayed. Kakuzu was still dead, he had killed his partner or maybe he was just not looking for him.

If Hidan could cry he would but he was rotted to far to do so. His mind was fucked and since he just got out of survival mode. He couldn't tell if he was blind or if his lack of sight was because of the dark. His mind had trouble wrapping around what just happened, he didn't want it to. He wanted to go back to that dream desperately but he was wide awake now.

He heard footsteps overhead and what sounded like a child and a mother's voice as well as Nara's. Had it really been that long? Had he been trapped in the hole for that long. He gave up. There was no point in trying to hold pride it no longer existed anymore.

"Nara!" His voice was barely audible but the man still heard it. "You guys go on without me." Hidan heard muffled voices and the just two pairs of footsteps. "You're still alive?" A muffled voice called back. "Please just kill me now! Kill me!" His voice strained as he begged for the sweet relief of death. His hope had left him and he rather die then be alone for eternity. "Just kill me!" He yelled on last time before getting a response. "I can't! You're immortal remember?!" His voice called back mockingly. "Come on don't you wanna!? I killed your teacher!" He called back desperately. "That was over ten years ago and I don't care enough to dig you back up, that would a drag! See ya!" He called as his footsteps faded in the distance.

Hidan shut his dry eyes and began to sob or that's what sounded like sobbing. He prayed he would fall back asleep so he could go back to the dream. Any dream even if a nightmare was better then this but it appeared he wouldn't fall back asleep for quite some time. He let out a shriek.
