Kakuzu opened the door, to find the sliver haired man laying faced down on the bed, sobbing. Kakuzu approached the bed and sat down on it beside Hidan's feet. "Don't look at me!" His voice creaked. Kakuzu ignored the request, to show that he wouldn't listen he grabbed the small male's waist and pulled him into his lap. He used his palm to gently push the back of Hidan's head was pressed against him. "No! S-stop looking! Let go of me, y-you old bustard!" The younger weakly punch his chest with the side of his fists, he soon grew tired and his small arms wrapped themselves around the larger body, almost subconsciously. He willfully buried his face into the olders muscular chest, wetting his shirt with his heavy tears. He clung tighter as he finally began to calm himself, his tears stopped leaking out of his puffy eyes that have now returned to their original colour. He move his head so it was resting on Kakuzu's shoulder, his breath slowed as he shut his magenta eyes. "This feels nice." He said, in a voice that could barely be heard, if Kakuzu wasn't right beside him he wouldn't have. "Yeah it is nice." He agreed, rubbing his back.
Hidan's looked up at the wall and his eyes widened. "Oh no." "What? What's wrong?" Kakuzu asked worryingly, scared that the person that was fallowing them had returned. "She didn't take down that dam picture of me." Hidan growled, his face red from anger and embarrassment. "You gotta be fucking kidding me!" Hidan groaned, dramatically throwing his body backwards, excepting Kakuzu to stop him but unfortunately for him it didn't happen. Instead the older man, with a annoyed expression, he watched Hidan's face quickly change as he tumbled back farther than he expected, he fought gravity to try to catch himself but failed to win that battle, he crushed shoulder-blades first on the ground with a loud thud. "Stop letting me fall, you fucking asshole!" Hidan screamed. "Then don't worry me like that, idiot!" Kakuzu shot back. Akari rushed into the room. "What's going on?" She asked, worry covering her face. "The bitch dropped me!" Hidan said while sitting up. "Nice." Akari said, trying to hold back a laugh before leaving the room. Hidan narrowed his eyes at the door while rubbing the back on his head. "Just who's side are you on?" He mumbled to himself as he flopped back onto the bed, dangling his feet off it. Hidan let out a huff of nothing but air.
Kakuzu looked behind him to see the photo that Hidan complained about. He was younger with short, messy brown hair and red eyes, possibly when he was a 11 year old human, he still wore the Jashin pediment, his face had an unamused expression as well as bored but over all he still looked like Hidan. Beside the picture was another one this one frames in red. His hair was its normal length and colour, though his eyes were more lilic then its current colour of magenta. He wore a white dress shirt and looked around the same age as the human Hidan, he had a slightly smug grin on his face, showing his somewhat cocky personality. Kakuzu didn't know which one Hidan was referring too, neither were bad. Was it the immortal one or the human one, knowing Hidan it was mostly likely the latter, he hated the fact that he was ever human. He hated most humans, he seemingly only liked Akari, Kakuzu and his father, someone he spoke very little about, he spoke even less about his mom, but when he did he spoke with a general unstoppable hate for her, often saying that he'd kill her again if he had the chance but it wouldn't be as quick. He spoke about most humans like absolute trash but he seemed to completely despise her the most, Kakuzu never was told as to why. Kakuzu shook his head, snapping out of his thoughts. He didn't really care about Hidan's mother at the moment, it wasn't the time.
Hidan moved so he was resting his head on the pillows so he could be more comfortable. Kakuzu laid beside him and began playing with his sliver hair. "I like it more when it's fucking shorter." Hidan commented quietly, he had grown tired due to his crying. "It's still pretty early. Wanna go on a walk outside? " Kakuzu asked. "I guess, sure." Hidan smiled, fallowing Kakuzu outside. "We'll be back!" Hidan called to Akari. "Make sure you're dumb-ass's come home alive." "We don't really have fucking a choice!" Hidan laughed as he walked out the door, closing it behind him. Kakuzu and Hidan walked side by side through the flat field-like land and held hands, this time it wasn't because Hidan couldn't see. Hidan looked around though he couldn't see colour correctly he was still happy. "Sorry I fucked up by crying earlier." Hidan mumbled, slightly pulling away. "It's alright." Kakuzu stated, holding Hidan's
hand tighter out of habit, though Hidan didn't seem to mind his hand getting squeezed. He played with his hair, this time not in wonder as to what it looked like but simply because he wasn't used to being it's normal length once again. The air was warm around them, and the grass was dry, but it wasn't too hot for them to keep going. "We're not going to live with Akari are we? So where the fuck are we going to go now?" Hidan asked with a smile but his voice was sad. "Well, we're going to wait until you've gained some weight then we'll go to Yugakure." Kakuzu answered. "And get a new pediment?" Hidan asked excitedly. "Yes." Kakuzu sighed. The older could have sworn, even if it was just for a moment, stars had started to appear in his magenta eyes. Hidan was basically jumping up and down in pure joy. Hidan still was a religious psycho that much was still true but he was still adorable. His eyes finally seemed lively, his smile had more personality and his body was jumping all over the place in pure happiness. "How much do I weigh now? Is it close? Huh?" Hidan asked somewhat annoyingly. "I'm not sure we'll have to find out when we get back to Akari's house." Kakuzu stated.
They returned to the house an hour and a half later and then they weighed Hidan on the scale in the bathroom, he was upset to find out that he only weighed eighty-four pounds, before he weighed one-hundred-twenty-five pounds. This really really made him sad, he didn't even realize just how thin he was. He didn't feel very pretty, instead he felt gross and sickly. His sad face looked in the mirror, he felt ugly and unattractive. Kakuzu's strong arms slithered around Hidan's torso, pinning his upper arms to the sides of his chest, trapping him and effectively keeping in place but Hidan's eyes didn't drift away from his reflection. "So when I'm back to fucking normal we'll go get me a new pediment?" He questioned, his voice sounds odd, quite but somehow not soft, one would assume he had seen a ghost if they go off his face.
"Boys I've got dinner, get your dumb-ass's in here!" Akari's voice called out. Kakuzu let go of Hidan, who fallowed him into the dinning room. His mood instantly improved as he saw steak. "You too done having sex or something? You two really should stop doing that in my fucking house." She joked placing her hands on her hips. "We weren't! Stop saying that you, jackass!" Hidan shot back, crossing his arms. Akari laughed as Hidan sat down, then he ripped into the steak.
