"hurry up guys! let's play!" taeyong yelled from the makeshift beach volleyball court.

"hang on!" yang yang yelled and ran from where all of you set your stuff down with jaehyun and xiao jun.

"doyoung, do you want to go play?" you asked your boyfriend, who laid in the shade with sunglasses on and with his hands underneath his head. 

"i'm going to rest for a bit," he said.

"okay, i'm going to go play with the guys," you said and stood up from the beach blanket. you kicked off your sandals and hurried over to the guys, some of them up the net.

"okay, let's split up," kun said and we split up into two teams.

"i'm serving!" jisung yelled as he served the ball. lucas hit the ball before johnny spiked the ball over the net. the ball managed to hit ten's shoulder, which helped get the ball into the air somehow. then, yuta passed the ball to kun before the latter hit the ball over the net. sungchan tried to hit the ball but received a face full of sand instead.

"woah, you okay, sungchan?" taeyong asked.

the tall boy nodded and stood up, "all good," he said while brushing sand off of him.

"here, y/n," jaemin tossed the ball over the net and you caught it. you threw the ball to jisung and everybody got ready to play again.

the next round started and jisung served the ball again. mark hit the ball over the net, and you hit the ball with your hands. jaehyun ran and hit the ball over the net.

"johnny!" taeyong yelled as he passed the volleyball to johnny. johnny hit the ball to yang yang, who spiked the ball over the net. no one on your team was able to hit the ball in time before it hit the bounced away to hendery, who was laying on a sun lounger.

hendery grabbed the ball and threw it over to us. kun picked the ball up and tossed the ball over the net, and you watched jamin catch the volleyball.

just as the next round was going to start, you felt someone grab your wrist. you saw doyoung stand next to you while frowning.

"babe, what's wrong?" you asked and he started dragging you back to where your stuff was.

he stayed silent and made you sit down on the beach blanket you had set up. he sat down next to you and pulled you into his lap while wrapping his arms around your waist.

"you're jealous, aren't you?" you asked him.

doyoung cracked open a sports drink and drank some of the sports drink. "be glad i didn't just grab you and bring you back to the car. i was this close to dragging you back to the car and making out with you," he suddenly said and you stared at him.

"doyoung!" you yelled at him. he put the drink down and placed his head on your shoulder. "what are you doing?" you asked.

"sending death glares to everyone that looks at you," he answered and you rolled your eyes.

"i thought we were here to have fun, not sit around the whole time," you said and drank some of his drink. "man, i just wanted to play volleyball..." you whined.

"no. besides you've been hanging with the guys the whole time we were getting ready to leave. i want to spend time with you by ourselves," doyoung said and kissed your neck.

"don't kiss my neck in public," you scolded him.

"what? should i give you a hickey instead?"

"kim dongyoung! i'm going to kill you!" you hit his thigh. you managed to escape his grip and started running towards the ocean.

"babe!" doyoung yelled and chased after you. you passed some of the guys and eventually dove into the ocean. you swam for a bit before coming back up to the surface and turning around to see doyoung swimming towards you. "get back here!" he yelled and you tried to swim away, but doyoung grabbed you and wrapped his arms around you. "got ya!"

you splashed water into him and he flinched. you laughed before water was splashed on you.

doyoung grabbed you and kissed you, "i'm never letting you go, even if you run away."

you smiled at him, "love you."

"love you more," he replied.

all of a sudden, water was splashed on you guys. you looked and saw jungwoo and chenle laughing at you with tae il swimming up behind him.

"oh, it's on," doyoung said before swimming after jungwoo and chenle while more guys jumped into the ocean.
