"what do you mean you don't know how to ride a skateboard?" jeno asked you as you leaned against a fence and jeno stood on his skateboard.

"um, i don't know how to ride a skateboard?" you repeated.

"we come here all the time and you haven't gotten on one?" he asked. you shook your head. "alrighty then, i'll be your teacher," jeno smiled and got off of his skateboard.

"you know that i have two left feet when it comes to life, right?" you spoke and jeno chuckled while grabbing your hands.

"i'll help ya, don't worry. just step on," he said and you carefully put one foot on the board, but it started rolling. "i'm holding your hands, i got you," he reassured you and you put your other foot on the board.

"i don't like this..." you mentioned.

"it'll be okay," jeno reassured you.

"hey jeno! come on man!" one of jeno's friends, haechan, called for him.

you looked over and saw his friends waiting at one of the ramps. "you should go hang out with them, i'll stay here," you said to jeno as you turned your head back to face him.

"i'd rather hang out with you," jeno said and you knew you had started to blush. "hehe, you're cute when you're blushing," jeno commented. "okay, so you just need to push off the ground with your foot."

"that's it?" you asked.

"basically, i can teach you other stuff but that's for another day," he said. "just try pushing off and getting some momentum," he urged and let go of one hand. he moved to the side. you carefully picked up your foot and lightly pushed off the ground, causing you to move a tiny bit. "there you go! try again, but with more power," jeno happily spoke.

you pushed off again with move power and the skateboard rolled. jeno kept up with you and made sure you were okay.

"see, you're pretty good already," jeno said to you.

"jeno, dude! let's go!" renjun yelled.

"i'll be up there in a second!" jeno yelled back. "hey jisung, do you have another board?" he asked another friend.

"yea, it's next to my backpack," jisung answered before going down a ramp.

"you can use mine, i'm going to hang with the guys for a bit," jeno said to you.

you nodded and jeno let go of your hand, "have fun."

"you too," he replied and kissed your cheek. you watched him walk away while you attempted to ride the skateboard by yourself. you lost your balance many times and fell more times than you'd like to admit.

after another time of falling, you just sat next to jeno's skateboard and made sure it didn't roll away.

"looks like you're having some trouble."

you looked up and saw chenle on on his skateboard.

"eh, i'm just not good at skateboarding. i need help," you replied.

"i can help you out if you want. i wasn't that good when i started either," chenle mentioned and put one foot on the ground.

"CHENLE! GET AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND!" you looked behind chenle and saw jeno riding towards you too.

you laughed while chenle rolled his eyes, "yea, got it. y/n is yours, i know," chenle replied. "i'll see you later."

"bye chenle," you waved and chenle rode away.

jeno came up to you, "are you okay?" he immediately asked you.

"i'm fine," you replied. "here, take yours. i'm done," you said and held his skateboard.

he took his skateboard back but then hopped off of jisung's and held your arm, "you're bleeding!" he exclaimed.

"i am?" you looked and saw blood right above your elbow.

"how did you not notice?"

"do you know how many times i fell earlier?" you asked. "too many," you added and took your backpack off.

jeno took your backpack and opened it up. he grabbed a box of band-aids and placed two on the bleeding spot. "sorry, it's my fault since i didn't watch you."

"no, it's okay," you said to him.

"no it isn't! you could've fallen off of a deck or something!" he exclaimed again and sighed. "thank god that you keep band-aids with you."

"after all the times that you got roughed up out here, i have to carry some with me," you replied causing both of you to laugh. you looked around, "the sun's going to set soon, do you want to get some ice cream?"

"yea, sure," he put the box of band-aids back in your backpack and stood up. you got up and took your backpack back. "guys, i'm leaving! i'll text you guys later!" he announced to his friends.

"bye jeno!" jaemin yelled.

"see ya!" chenle said while hopping onto a deck.

jeno picked up his skateboard and head your hand. you two headed out of the park, avoiding other skateboarders that were still out.

"i think you need more skateboarding lessons from me," jeno said to you as you guys walked onto the sidewalk.

"you think?" you responded which made him chuckle.

"never mind, you definitely need lessons," he said with another chuckle. "here, hop on," both of you stopped walking and he put his skateboard down.

"really?" you asked.

"yea, this will be your second lesson," he said. you carefully got on and he kissed your cheek.

"hey, what was that for?" you suddenly asked. "i thought you were going to teach me."

"what? don't you like my kisses?" he asked while you lightly pushed off and started moving with jeno walking beside you, and him still holding your hand.

"of course i like your kisses," you said.

"well, consider them a reward for learning," he said and gave you another kiss.
