jisung - first day

"so we just do their makeup out here. most of them come here with makeup or with their base already on so you'll probably just do touch-ups unless if the concept is specific," one of your coworkers explained.

you nodded with a smile, "okay!"

"now, here's the fun stuff," another co-worker spoke up, "we're taking you out tonight. where do you want to eat tonight?" she asked and you raised an eyebrow.

"eat?" you questioned.

"come on, you're our new co-worker! of course we're going to take you out for dinner. we'll have fun," another coworker spoke up, enthusiastic about dinner being talked about.

"hey guys, does someone have hairspray? i ran out this morning when those models were here," another coworker asked while taking stuff out of a suitcase.

"i have an extra can," you mentioned and opened a small bag that was in your makeup case. you handed the hairspray can to him.

"thanks," your coworker said and finished setting up.

"do you guys need to fix our makeup?" you turned around and saw some of the members of nct walking in.

after conversing with other staff who were present, they figured out which guys needs touchups. sitting in your chair was jisung.

"just add a bit more lipstick and fix his hair," one of your coworkers said to you. you nodded and she walked away.

"hi, i'm y/n," you introduced yourself and grabbed a lip palate from your setup.

"i'm jisung. nice to meet you," he said to you as he grabbed a brush from your apron.

"you too," you said. "i'm just going to put some lipstick on and fix your hair," you said and he nodded. you put lipstick onto the lip brush and put the palate on the vanity near you. you applied it to his lips and fixed the edges. "okay, all done," you said and put the brush down on the table.

you grabbed a hairbrush and started brushing his hair while walking around him to stand behind the chair. "so you're new, right?" jisung asked you.

you nodded, "yup, i am." you answered and put the brush in your apron.

"i like the hearts," he said. you grabbed a comb and started fixing the part of his hair.

"hm?" you questioned and looked at him through a mirror. he pointed to his cheek and you realized that he was talking about the hearts you had put on your cheeks when you did your makeup this morning. "oh, thanks," you smiled in response.

"how'd you do that? by hand?" he asked.

"i have a stamp," you answered.

"makes you look really cute," he mentioned, but he immediately became flustered, "n-not that you wouldn't be cute without them!" he said.

"oh, um, thank you," you awkwardly replied and grabbed your flat iron. you fixed a few strands before putting the iron on the vanity and lightly spraying his hair with hairspray. "i think i'm done," you said to him and he frowned.

"man, can't you play with my hair some more? i want to talk to you," jisung said to you. then, he started messing with his hair.

"hey!"

with his ruffled hair, he cheekily smiled at you, "there, now i can talk to you more."

you started fixing his hair again. "do you...do you want to go out for lunch one day?" you boldly, but quietly asked, hoping others around you wouldn't be able to hear you.

jisung smiled, "sure." he said grabbed one of your eyeliner pens. you finished fixing his hair again and set down your hairbrush. then, jisung grabbed your hand and wrote on it with the eyeliner pen.

"that's my eyeliner," you mentioned.

"hey jisung! come over here!" one of the other members called him to the photoshoot set.

"i'll be there in a second!" he yelled and finished writing, "and that's my number," he said and put your eyeliner pen back. he stood up and smiled at you.

you smiled at him and watched him go onto the photoshoot set. and for the rest of the session, you took every chance you could to steal a look from him, meeting his gaze more than once.
