renjun - surprise visit

you were in the library trying to get ahead on some work that you wanted down. you typed some notes on your laptop, and a new song started playing on the playlist you were listening to. you skipped the song and kept skipping until you found a song that you wanted to listen to.

as you typed, you noticed a library worker come up to you. you turned your music down and looked up at them, "excuse me, we're closing in thirty minutes," they informed you.

you nodded, "okay, thank you," you slightly smiled and the worker walked away. you finished typing up the section your were on and closed all of the tabs and apps on your screen. you closed your laptop and put everything away in your backpack. you put your coat on and headed out of the library.

the sun had already set, and you yawned in exhaustion after being in the library since your last class of the day. you drank some water as you walked back to your apartment.

you passed by some stores and buildings before reaching your apartment building. you walked in and climbed up a few flights of stairs before reaching your apartment. you unlocked the door and walked in, locking the door behind you in the process. you slipped off your shoes and put your backpack on the couch. then, you took your coat off and threw your coat on top of your backpack while slipping your house slippers on.

you yawned again and ultimately decided to take a nap in your room. you walked to your room and opened the door before walking in, plopping on your bed and closing your eyes.

why is it so crowded? i don't have that many stuffed animals...

you opened your eyes and looked over but saw a familiar face instead of your stuffed animals.

"renjunnie?" you spoke in confusion after noticing your boyfriend. he stirred and woke up. "you're here?!" you exclaimed, making him wince.

"i've been here!" he whined. you hugged him and he hugged you back.

"how long have you been here?" you asked him.

he thought to himself with a hum, "mm...since three o'clock? i thought your classes ended by then today," he said and rubbed his eyes. "i'm sorry, i should have called you before i came here."

you shook your head, "it's okay. i'm sorry for not being here, i went to the library to do work," you explained and smiled at him. "i love it when you visit me."

"you're so cute," renjun kissed your cheek.

"are you hungry? i can make dinner right now," you asked him and sat up.

"mhm. what are you going to make?" he asked and sat up while hugging you again.

you shrugged your shoulders, "i have no idea what's in my fridge."

he chuckled, "maybe we should order take out."

"that's always a good option too," you replied and he kissed your cheek. "do you want to cuddle some more?" you asked.

"how could i decline an offer like that?" he asked and pulled both of you back down. "i'll order food in a bit. you should get a little nap in since you've been working so much."

you kissed his cheek, "you're the best. i love you."

"i love you more, y/n."
