"the line isn't long! let's go!" jisung said and all of the guys went in line for the ferris wheel.

you lingered back, "i'm going to buy a snack, you guys go without me," you said to them and tried walking away, but jungwoo and johnny wouldn't let you separate.

"come on y/n. you've been avoiding every ride since we got here," johnny said to you. "at least ride this one."

"yea, come on! it'll be fine!" jungwoo said and lightly pushed you in the line so you were next to yuta. you crossed your arms and sighed while the guys talked to each other, most of it being ten begging to go with johnny onto the ferris wheel.

after a few minutes of waiting in line, you and yuta were sitting in the carriage that was attached to the ferris wheel.

"this thing is small," yuta commented while the wheel started moving. you just stared at the ground of the carriage while yuta rambled. "y/n? you okay?" he asked you.

"i have a fear of heights. that's why i wanted to go get a snack," you said to him.

"what? why didn't you tell us?" he yelled at you. "um, here," you heard him unzip his jacket and put it over you. he lifted the hood over your head. "that...probably isn't doing much..."

you managed a laugh out, "it's okay. i was a bit cold. thank you, yuta."

"yea, of course," he replied. then, the ferris wheel came to a stop and you noticed yuta shift over. "we're almost at the top."

"that isn't helping, yuta," you said to him.

"oh, right. sorry," he apologized and it became awkward between the two of you.

the ferris wheel started moving again but came to another stop within seconds.

"why is this thing moving so slow?" yuta questioned and moved so he was sitting across from you again. "you okay?" he asked.

"i think so," you replied.

"it isn't that bad from up here, but i understand why it's scary," he said. "but since you won't look outside, you can look at me."

"huh?" you instantly looked up at him and saw yuta smiling at you.

"made you look," he laughed and reached out to grab his hoodie. he adjusted the hood so you couldn't see with your peripheral vision. "better?" he softly asked. you nodded. "that's good," he replied.

the carriage jerked and started moving again. the rest of the ride was quiet as you and yuta made it back down.

"here," yuta held out his hand. you grabbed it and stepped out of the carriage.

"yuta hyung!" jisung yelled from the ferris wheel. "go catch me a goldfish!"

"whatever," yuta rolled his eyes as the ferris wheel continued moving. "want to go get some ice cream or a snack?"

"actually...i wouldn't mind trying to catch a goldfish," you said to him.

he chuckled, "alright, let's go." both of you started walking towards the the stand where you could throw ping pong balls into bowls and win a goldfish. "hey, stay close. i don't want to lose you in the crowd," he grabbed your arm and pulled you closer.

you and yuta continued walking and made it to the stand. then, you two paid the man and started playing the mini game.

"oh come on!" you whined as you failed to win a goldfish.

"woohoo!" yuta cheered when his last ping pong ball landed in a bowl. "thanks!" he said and received a goldfish from one of the workers. "well, jisung will get his fish," yuta laughed.

you laughed, "yea."

you two started walking around. "hey, what are you doing on wednesday?" he asked as you two headed back to the ferris wheel in order to meet up with the guys.

"wednesday? i have the day off, why?" you replied.

"do you want to go out? maybe grab a coffee?" he sheepishly asked.

you could feel your face heat up, "um, sure," you shyly answered him.

"you do realize that it's going to be awkward if both of us keep acting like this, right?" he asked.

"you know how i am! i'm naturally awkward and shy and all things introverted!" you said to him and the awkwardness disappeared. "you're awkward too you know..."

"and you're cute," he said and put his arm over your shoulders.
