mark - early morning

"hey, babe. babe, wake up," you heard mark speak to you. "babe, wake up." you rolled away from his voice. "y/n, come on, wake up." you felt the bed dip in while you just curled up more under the blanket.

"your babe is not awake right now. please come back when she naturally wakes up before she hits you," you spoke with a grumble.

"hey, you promised that you'd wake up right now," mark kissed your head.

"what time is it?" you sluggishly spoke.

"it's about five-thirty. come on, you said you'd do this with me," mark answered but you grumbled. you felt him hug you. "come on, wake up. i made coffee for you," he said and kissed your head again.

"coffee?"

"coffee."

you finally sat up and rubbed your eyes. "i'm so tired," you whined and looked at him.

he chuckled, "i know, i know," mark said and got out of bed. you grabbed your glasses off of your nightstand and put them on. "come on, let's go," mark said and pulled you out of bed. you two walked out of the bedroom and headed towards the open balcony doors. you saw plates of food on the table as you stepped onto the balcony. "here you go," mark bent down to grab a mug filled with coffee. he handed it to you and you started drinking it.

"thank you," you said to him as he sat down on a chair.

"of course. sit down," he said and you yawned.

"where?" you looked around for another chair but mark pulled you in between his legs. "be careful! you almost split the coffee!" you scolded him.

he just chuckled and kissed your cheek. you put the mug down and started eating.

the sky started to become brighter and brighter. soon, the sun followed behind and you watched it rise with mark.

"thanks for agreeing to this," mark muttered and kissed the back of your neck. you squirmed a tiny bit since you were ticklish. "i've always wanted to watch the sun rise with you," mark mentioned.

"as long as i have some coffee, i'm okay with waking up early," you said to him.

he chuckled and wrapped an arm around your waist. you two ate breakfast together and watched the sun fully rise.

once you finished eating, mark wrapped his other arm around you and kissed your exposed shoulder.

"so, do you have work today?" you asked him.

"i have today off," he murmured into your shoulder. "you?"

"me too," you mentioned and mark nuzzled his head in the crook of your neck. you felt him kiss you a few times. "hey, not there," you squirmed but mark kept you in place. "you know i'm tick-ticklish!" you exclaimed as mark kept tickling your neck with many kisses.

"you're too cute, i can't help it," mark said and rested his chin on your shoulder. "i love you."

"i love you too."

you two sat in silence for a bit, enjoying each other's company. "let's go inside," mark suggested. you nodded your head.

mark let go of you and you stood up. you walked back inside while mark followed you into the bedroom.

"what are you doing?" mark asked. you got back into bed and took your glasses off. you placed them on the nightstand before pulling the blanket over yourself.

"what does it look like?" you said to him and closed your eyes.

you felt the bed dip in and mark hug you. he kissed your head, "i guess staying here for a bit isn't a bad idea," you smiled and rested your head against mark's chest.
