James
James watched Artyom say goodbye to the guard. They seemed friendly. He got into his car, and turned on the heater, putting his gun back in the glove compartment.
"You all made up?" James asked with a raised brow.
Artyom started driving. "Yeah. Can't belive I shot one of Adrian's men."
"Aw, you're such a softie."
"Adrian is a good friend of mine. He helped me in a time I had no one, and his people are like his family."
"Aha but you're still a softie."
Artyom chuckled. "Only with you."
James grinned. "Oh, am I that special?"
"Very much so."
"Cheesy mother fucker." James smirked.
"That mouth of yours is making me hard." Artyom grinned, hand cupping James between his legs.
"It's payback for giving me a boner in the middle of a fight."
"Oh yeah?" Artyom gave him a hungry stare.
"Yes sir." James pushed forward against his palm.
Artyom's hand moved up, fingers running through James's hair. "I'm going to eat you up when we get home."
His velvety voice laced with pure desire sent shivers down James's spine. "Can't wait." He bit his lip. "Can I ask you something?"
"You want to know how I know the Twins or Adrian. You want to know what happened to Thomas, what Mathias did to him."
"Yeah but only if you want to tell me."
"I want to." Artyom cleared his throat. "You need to know why I hate Mathias so much, why I'm so terrified of what will happen if he gets his hands on you..."
"He won't. I won't be the reason you break again." James caressed the back of his hand with his thumb.
"After Vadik I didn't know what to do with myself. I had shared my life with him for many years, I had no purpose. It physically hurt to live in a word without him. I wanted so desperatelly to die, but I knew Vadik would never forgive me if I killed myself.
So I to put myself in situations that would guarantee my death. I found a groupe of hunters, and bit one of them. The others attacked me, almost gave me what I wanted, but then Mathias saved me." He spat the word out as if it was acid on his tongue.
"Where you still in Russia?"
"No Vadik, and I had moved to France a couple of years before his death."
"Right."
"I was wounded after the hunters beat me and passed out. Last thing I remember was Mathias killing them all. When I woke up I found myself in the Twin's palace. I was angry with Mathias for not letting me die so I took my anger, and pain out on him, and he let me. I wanted to leave, but I knew I didn't belong to the outside world anymore.
My Vadik was gone. I belonged no where. I stayed at the palace for a couple of years, and Mathias was there for me. He took care of me. Even though he's a sick monster, in his twisted way, he loved me. I felt something for him too, but it all stopped when I figured out who he really was, who the Twins really were.
I leaved soon after. Mathias begged me to stay, told me the Twins would be furious, would come after me, and make me pay for leaving. I told him I didn't give a fuck, I could never love a monster like him. I broke him so he broke me back."
