So bare with me but I had this au in mind. It's basically that Severus owns both a Twitter & Tumblr acct. and post nothing but conspiracy theories, as well as watch videos on them on YouTube. He also has a YouTube channel dedicated to them. He changes his appearance when he makes the videos to avoid to being known when he goes out.

Not only that but he also just exposes the wizarding world in his videos. He talks about Hogwarts as well as the four houses and his time there, he has also talked about the werewolf incident but he never mentions any names. He has shown in the video several claw marks he has received during the incident but people assume it was probably from a bear attack or just fake. Many people assume what he says is fake, he has even recorded himself doing magic but even then they assumed he used a green screen and edited the video.

The wizards who have come across his video can only watch in disbelief and the few people muggles that do believe what he is doing is real are just other conspiracy theorist. The Auror's have tried to find Severus, despite not knowing it's him, in order to get rid of the videos but they never could find out where he's hiding.

Not only that but Severus is considered dead in the wizarding world, forgot to mention there's no war so everyone lives, he had faked his own death after the werewolf incident. People in the muggle world know him as Stephen Prince (don't ask, I don't know) and in the online world he's known as the "half blood prince"

The ministry & the Auror's can't seem to find him, so they've all decided to leave him be and let the world view him as a crazy person, with very good editing skills.

He has more then once taunted the ministry but not once has he ever revealed the name of that of an actual witch/wizard. The marauders firmly believe that that's actually Severus in the videos and have tried to find him themselves but no one believes them seeing as Severus is dead and was buried in the Malfoy family cemetary, plus the ministry practically forces them to stop trying to find him least he goes out and truly provides evidence of their existence.

The muggles who already know that wizards exist due to being married or related to one watch his videos for entertainment and they either agree with him or disagree for the fun of it.

The only people who know where he lives and that he faked his own death are Evan Rosier, Lucius Malfoy, Lily Evans, Narcissa Black, & Regulus Black. On several occasions they have all appeared in his videos, while wearing disguises, and he has convinced several people that

Lily is a Succubus
Evan is God
Lucius is an actual Angel
Narcissa is a Siren
Regulus is a Mermaid

It doesn't help that they all agree to it because they think it's funny. Severus's videos and posts are known world wide, that several forms of government have tried to locate him themselves but fail.

He mocks them, he mocks them all and he's basically living his best life.

This au had recently come to mind and I absolutely love it.
