Meet the parents

"I can't do this!"

"Yes you can!"

"No!"

Severus sighed deeply and tried to ignore the aching feeling slowly forming in his heart "Fine..." he said in exhaustion and turned to walk away. Before he could so much as move an inch he was quickly engulfed into a giant hug.

"I'm sorry" James said as he held Severus close. Before anything else could be said the front door to Severus's house swung open to reveal two adults, one of which was holding a shotgun and pointing it at James's face. James froze in fear and Severus couldn't help but chuckle "Hi mom, hi dad" he said and removed himself from James's arms and went to go hug his parents.

"Hello hun" Eileen said as she wrapped her arms around her precious boy "I'm so glad you made it here safely" she added while stroking his hair. Severus smiled "Yeah, can you get dad to stop pointing the shotgun at James now?" he asked nervously as he picked at his hand. Eileen nodded and looked over at her husband "Argus hun please put that shotgun down and come hug your son" she said as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

Filch grunted but slowly lowered the shotgun and turned his attention to his (step) son and smiled fondly at him. Severus returned the smile and quickly moved to hug his father. Filch in turn returned the hug and patted Severus's head "Hello lad its good to see you" he said softly. James watched them closely his nervousness growing with every passing minute, and seeing Filch smile sent a chill down his spine.

Severus looked over at James and smiled "Right, Mom Dad" he began as he stepped towards James and grabbed hold of his arm "This is James Potter, he's my boyfriend" he stated happily as ever. James gave them an awkward smiled "Hi" he said nervously and held out his hand "Its a pleasure to finally meet you both" 

Both Eileen and Argus stared at James with a questioning glare, James was slowly beginning to shake as he kept his hand out. Eileen was the first to shake his hand and offered him a small smile "Well its a pleasure to meet you too Mr. Potter, Sev has told has me so much about you as well as my husband" She said as she let go of the boy's hand. Filch simply glared at James who in turn pulled his hand back to his side in complete fear.

"Well I think its time we head inside huh" Severus said in an attempt to help ease the tension. Eileen nodded and stepped aside to let both boys inside. Once Severus had gotten into the house Filch placed a hand on James's shoulder "I don't like you and if you hurt my boy I will make sure you are never found" he said before going back inside.

James stood there frozen with fear, his mind began to race but he managed to shake his head "I'm gonna die, I am seriously gonna die" was all he said before moving to get inside the house.

Throughout the neighborhood a loud scream was heard all because a certain cat sunk its teeth and claws into the leg of a certain brown haired boy and refuses to let go.
