Chapter 48: Attack on the Moon pt 2

Venus POV 

"Are you sure they'll attack the Moon? What if they see through our plans and attack Earth instead?" 

"Queen Nehelenia is more likely to attack the Moon since Queen Serenity is here too. I'm sure she wants revenge." 

"But she knows that she needs the Golden Crystal. She'll look for Helios again, even harder than before." 

"Let's hope she thinks we're hiding Helios on the Moon since we're gathered here." 

"If our numbers are greater here than on Earth, then she must think we're doing it to protect him, right?' 

"Or she could think the opposite and think we're laying a trap for her." 

"I just don't feel comfortable leaving our Princess alone with a civilian and Kevin right now." 

"Hey! Don't underestimate my man!" I shout to Diamond. 

"I'm not underestimating him! It's just a fact that he won't have the ability to protect her if they over numbered." 

"Why don't we focus on ourselves. Usagi will call us if she needs us." 

"What if the Princess doesn't have the time to contact any one of us." 

"Sapphire, what have I said about thinking negatively?" 

"You know it's simply a habit, my love." 

"You must change it. Our Princess strives to create a kingdom of positivity and love. If we are to lead, then we must lead by example." 

"Whipped." 

"What?" Sapphire asks in confusion. 

All the ladies laugh, "It's a saying on Earth." 

"In a sense, Jupiter is saying that she has you wrapped all around her finger." 

"In other words, she has more control in your relationship." 

"It's true." Sapphire acknowledges while shrugging his shoulders. 

Everyone breaks into a laugh, even Diamond let out a small smile at his younger brother. 

"Anyways, let's go over our plan one more time!" I say to re-focus everyone. 

"When and if, Queen Nehelenia appears on the Moon, we'll start by taking out the duo: Fish-eye and Tiger-eye. We still have Hawks-eye with us but, I doubt he'll be useful as a hostage. Not to mention, it's not a method approved by any of us." 

"Hey! I approved of it!" 

"Fine, it's only approved of by Uranus." I correct myself. 

"Thank you!" She yells back. 

"Once we have them under control, we'll attack Nehelenia before she realizes Helios and the Golden Crystal are not here. We'll immobilize her and our Prince will seal her back into a mirror using his crystal." 

"Any questions?" I ask after the recap. 

"What if she doesn't come at all? And only the duo come?" 

Then we'll leave the Shintennou to deal with the two and, all the ladies will head back to Earth." 

"Sounds good!" 

Just as we finish the meeting, Queen Serenity comes in. 

"She's here."

Everyone nods their heads and goes to meet our Queen's younger sister. 

Queen Serenity POV 

"My dear sister! Please think this through once more!" 

"What is there to think about? The fact that you stole my spotlight? Not to mention, you sealed me up! There is nothing to think about!" 

"You're right, I did seal you up but, I never stole your spotlight! Your people have always admired you and treasured you as their princess and ruler. You betrayed them by stealing their dream mirrors and turning them into the monsters they are now. That's why I sealed you!" 

"And is that why you want to seal me up again? Ha! Don't make me laugh! You never helped me when I felt insecure because, I was aging faster than you. You were always busy raising your daughter and protecting the Moon, and that planet Earth!" 

"Forgive me, sister. I never meant to make you feel lonely. I was too focused on what I felt was my duty as Queen and as a mother. I forgot about my duties as your older sister." 

"Duties? DUTIES! You consider talking to me as a part of your duty?!" 

"That's not what she meant!" Venus steps up. 

"Queen Serenity has always talked in a royal manner, one befitting of a ruler, for far too long." Luna continues. 

"She merely is not used to talking about her own feelings." Artemis continues. 

I feel my face warm up with embarrassment as they try to stand up for me. However, I doubt they recognize how embarrassed I am at my own weakness in communicating and expressing my feelings with Nehelenia. 

"Enough talk! Zirconia find Hawkseye and release him. Then we'll capture Helios!" 

"Not on our watch!" The ladies stand firm and strong before the castle doors. 

'Be safe, Serenity.' I send through our bond.
