I woke up, wearing a black shirt and some sweats, in my human form. Today was the full moon which meant I could see Ella again.

It had been months and she was getting so big.. my anger at Klaus was still as fresh as if it was that night.

My eyes examined the cemetery as I stood up, going to move when a wall-like structure blocked me. I looked down, noticing the circle of salt around me.

Footsteps filled my ears before Davina walked in holding two bags of blood.

"Davina, let me out of here right now. I know my son looks at you like a daughter so I won't kill you."

"You can try, or we could have a polite conversation." She taunted.

"You magically kidnapped me on the one night that I can see my daughter. Do not talk to me about polite."

"I drew you here to help you."

"Elijah asked you months ago to break the curse, and you said no. Why the sudden change of mind?"

"I was trying to become the regent of witches. I couldn't be seen doing favors for the Mikaelsons or anyone associated with them, but maybe we can help each other. Look. I have access to the witch ancestors. I can channel the power of the one who created the spell used to curse you. You can be free.."

I drank half the bag of blood, scoffing.

"Under your terms, I'm guessing."

"There's a witch in the ninth ward who hates that I'm regent; she tried to kill me. If I retaliate, I'm starting a civil war, and I don't want to do that."

"Oh, ok. Fine. Just tell me who you want dead."

A small smiled appeared on her face before going away.

Once she performed a few spells, she sent me on my way without another word.

"This is crap.." I whispered, sneaking through the ninth ward.

Music played at a low volume down the street. I peered over the roof's edge, looking at the witch. Slightly leaning forward, I saw she was talking to Elijah.

Great.. I rolled my eyes, quietly making my way to the ground. I stopped behind a tree near the two, thankful they had their backs turned, focused on the sky as she talked.

I sped over, ripping her head from her body causing blood to splatter on my face and clothes as her body dropped to the ground.

Elijah frighteningly stepped back, looking at me, horrified.

Just as I dropped her head, looking at him, he panicked, grabbing my arm and speeding us away from the area. I groaned, snatching away from him once we stopped in the alley.

"Mia! We have been looking for you, and this is what you've been doing?"

"Mind your business."

"Get it together! This is the one night you can see your daughter."

"You don't think I know that? Get the hell away from me."

I pushed him back.

He stepped towards me, stopping when his phone went off. Alarm covered his face as he looked at me.

"We need to go."

"If it's not where my daughter is, I'm not going."

"Lucky for us, it is."

He grabbed my arm, speeding us to the compound then quickly offering aid to an unconscious Freya as I looked around the room.

"Here to apologize?" Klaus taunted, smirking as he came in.

"You should've died with Dahlia." I growled at him.

He was taken back a bit before quickly gaining his composure and chuckling.

"Your punishment fits your crime, love."

"You're mad because I protected our daughter? Your family was ruining her life."

"My family saved her life. There's a very short list of people who've tried to take my daughter away from me, and you're the only one left breathing." He smiled.

"Oh, so you wanna kill me now? Go ahead. What will you tell Ella when she gets older?"

"Hm.. her mother just wasn't cut out to be a parent."

He smirked.

"Not that I care but you don't even seem happy to see me human. I mean, is that what you were planning on telling her when she got older and asked for me, that I abandoned her?"

"It seems quite fair, doesn't it?"

I slapped him, wiping the smirk off his face.

As I swung at him again, he caught my arm, twisting it behind my back. I quickly kicked his leg back, releasing his hold on me.

"Niklaus!" Elijah yelled.

"You were willing to trap me as a wolf forever, leaving her without a mother! How could you do that to me after everything we've been through, Klaus? She deserves something better than what we had, and all I have ever wanted for her is something better. Why do you fault me for that, Klaus!?" I angrily shouted.

He kept quiet, looking behind me. I turned around to see Ella and Dawn standing near the staircase. She smiled, waving at me then hiding behind Dawn.

I threw a glare my baby daddy's way before rushing off to clean up.

The fresh pair of clothes hugged my skin as I quickly approached my baby. We giggled when I picked her up, swinging us around.

"The apartments across the street have recently been renovated. I might pay a visit to the management. The fact that Ella will never be out of earshot should assuage your incessant paranoia." Elijah said.

"So we are to listen as my daughter is raised by savages?"

"Brother, you created the problem. This might well be the solution. You can put it in the man's name of whom you murdered, leaving his daughter an orphan."

"I am unaware of who you're referring to, brother."

"His name was Russell, asshole." Dawn said.

"Ah, fine."

"You're not invited in." I said.

He went to protest but I threw the glass at his head. He dodged it, scoffing at me as I walked out.
