I hissed at the bright light upon opening my eyes. My body burned, feeling as if it was on fire; I sat in the middle of the room of some house.
I looked at the rope tied around me. There were nails sticking through it and into me; I could smell the wolfsbane and vervain.
"Mm.." I softly groaned, coughing up blood.
"Don't make such a mess of yourself, darling."
I weakly lifted my head, sighing at Greta.
"You.. are such... a bitch!" I spat, giggling.
"I'm not the one tied to the chair."
She took a syringe, stabbing it into my neck. I screamed, feeling the wolfsbane flood my system.
"You're nothing but an abomination! You, hybrid creatures, you think you're superior. There's nothing special about you."
"Aw.. mad 'cause dear old dad didn't make you a wolf, too?" I coughed.
"I will never be like your kind! You are filthy, and do not belong on this earth."
"Lady, how old are you? I'm sure you don't belong here either but somehow you're standing in front of me."
"Do you think you're funny?" She smirked.
"I... could be a.. comedian.."
My breathing started to slow.
She took a knife, running it across my face then down my arm.
"Be careful with your words. I am not afraid to kill."
I groaned, dropping my head as she walked out.
Some time later, I awoke after unknowingly passing out. My eyes popped open, feeling taps on my shoulder. A younger boy that I'd seen at Ella's school stood in front of me.
"I-I brought this for you." He held out a sandwich.
"I know you."
"You need to eat something, Mia."
"Get the hell away from me."
"Roman, what are you doing?" A woman asked, coming into the room.
