"He killed her.."
Dawn whispered, still in shock.

"You asshole!" She yelled, hitting Kol.

"It was an accident." He cried.

"Kol, what are you doing here?" I questioned, trying to offer aid to Davina.

"I love her! It was the ancestors!"

"Marcel told you to stay away. He knew you couldn't control them and now Davina's dead! Asshole!" Dawn shouted, pushing him.

"What are you doing here?" Marcel deeply spoke, keeping his eyes on Davina.

Kol cried while Marcel rushed to my side, attempting to help the deceased girl.

"The Ancestors had a hold of me. I-I was out of my head. I never would've hurt her. I tried to make it stop. I made her dagger me. Nothing worked!"

Marcel sniffled, clearing his throat.

"This is New Orleans. Witch spirits can be brought back from the dead, so that is exactly what we are going to do. We are going to bring her back! We... We have to."

I quickly wiped my tears before they could fall watching Marcel cry.

Excusing myself, I went back to the compound in hopes of, I don't even know. My mind had yet to process the information it absorbed.

After a quick shower, I contemplated getting some rest or satisfying my hunger. That debate was quickly interrupted once I learned of Klaus' plans for the day.

"Seriously?" Klaus grumbled then rolled his eyes.

I shrugged.

"You're going to retrieve Rebekah's body and I'm coming. Don't fight because we both know how this is going to go down."

He huffed, trying to get the car key from me but I moved it, continuing.

"You're going to tell me that I can't come, and then I'm going to tell you that I love Rebekah, too. Then you're going to say, I'm going to slow you down, and I'm going to remind you that you're the one who cursed me, the mother of your child, to be a werewolf for six months, and therefore, I know every inch of the bayou. You should just admit that you need me." I smiled, finishing.

He stared at me before speaking.

"You're lucky you're cute and I love you. However, I'll drive."

I cheered, handing him the key and quickly getting into the passenger seat.

The ride was filled with me singing along to the radio and Klaus smiling at me.

After procuring Rebekah's original body, he put it in the back of the truck. We quickly cleaned up the area; on our way back to the truck, Klaus yelled into his phone, annoyed.

"And Freya is certain this power will be enough to kill Lucien?" He asked.

"Yes, but we'd be placing Davina in terrible danger. The only thing protecting her from the Ancestors is Freya's circle. Now, if it is broken..."
