"Gentlemen. I wish I could say it was a pleasure." Tristan said, smiling at Elijah and Klaus.
"Marcellus, made your bed with the enemy, I see." Klaus spoke.
"Membership has its privileges."
"Let's get on with this, shall we?"
The guys pulled me toward the front of the group, dropping me on the floor.
"Mia Cardenas, or is it Mikaelson yet?" Tristan laughed before continuing.
"I will say, Mia is only slightly worse for wear. You'll have to forgive her if she seems a bit off. There's enough wolfsbane in her system to kill an entire pack. However, here she is as requested. Now, where's my sister?"
"She lives. You can thank Elijah for that. I wanted to flay her and hang her skin as a flag. Anyway, enough chitchat. Let's conclude this tedious business, shall we?" Klaus smirked.
"My sister first, and if you're tempted to argue, consider the numbers."
Tristan opened the container, taking the bag off her head. She smiled as he untied her, then hugged him.
The guys that were holding up my weak body, dropped me at the feet of Klaus and Elijah. Elijah quickly helped me up, holding onto me.
"Rory... What are you doing?" He asked once she took the medallion and stuck it on the wall.
"No. Aurora, what have you done to us?"
"Not to us. To you." She walked out of the container, revealing her true face as Camille.
"How is this possible?" He scoffed, attempting to exit again but the barrier held him back.
"The Serratura creates an impenetrable boundary. Nothing living or dead can pass through."
"And thanks to your lunatic sister, I'm neither."
I tilted my head. When had she been bitten?
"No. No. No! What are you waiting for? Take them now!" Tristan shouted.
"Stay close to me, okay?" Klaus whispered, stepping in front of me.
"Before you rush headlong toward almost certain death.." Elijah started.
"As your sire, I would like to invite you all to employ just a little bit of common sense."
"We are ancient vampires, Elijah, each of us almost as strong as you." Aya said, rolling her eyes.
"You might almost be successful in subduing us, but at what price? Most of you will die in the process, and for what? To avenge a fool marching you headlong toward your very extinction in the name of a witch's prophecy. You do realize he engineered absolutely all of this purely to satisfy some petty grievance against my family? Tristan doesn't care for any of you." He replied.
"Stop listening to him!"
"The only danger here is the choice that you must make. You see, I'm not your enemy. It's true, I delivered you into this existence. I can just as easily pluck you out of it. The choice is yours to make."
I groaned, feeling the intensity of the wolfsbane. Aya moved to attack but Marcel stopped her.
"It's done. The moment has passed. Be smart, Aya, smarter than Tristan. Don't waste any more of our guys."
She looked at him then around the room before sighing.
"Stand down."
"Aya, this isn't over." Tristan said as she approached him.
"May the ghosts of our fallen keep you company."
He yelled for her as she left the building with the rest of the Strix. My head rested on Klaus' shoulder as Elijah taunted Tristan.
"So this is to be my end?" He questioned.
Elijah smirked.
"No, no. This is the very beginning. You are going to the bottom of the ocean, where you will drown in darkness again and again and again over the course of centuries. This will be your splendidly horrific and perpetual end."
"What have you done with my sister?"
"Nothing... yet, but I assure you, her death will be spectacular." Klaus smiled.

The moonlight illuminated the bayou. I softly rubbed the back of Ella's hand, watching as she started to fall asleep. Hayley sniffled, staring at Jack's body in the canoe.
She put his bow & arrow next to him, covering him up. Her face scrunched up at the bitter alcoholic taste as it went down her throat.
She poured some across the canoe, dropped the lighter inside then softly pushed the canoe into motion. She lightly squeezed my hand, sniffling as we watched it disappear into the night.
After, many wolves gave their condolences to Hayley before leaving. I watched Elijah stand off, in the distance, on a phone call.
"Mia.." Hayley softly spoke.
"Hey."
"Thank you.. I know that you didn't have to and... Despite Jack still dying, Dawn and I are still alive because you sacrificed yourself. I truly appreciate it, Mia."
I hugged her then let go, putting my attention back on Ella as she walked around.
"You've looked out for Ella when you didn't have to. You don't need to thank me. Plus, Elijah would kill me if I let you die."
She giggled.
"He wouldn't."
"He would, Hayley. He loves you more than himself.."
She nodded, staring at him before walking in his direction. I headed back to the compound, ready to dive into a deep sleep.
As soon as we got in, I let Ella run off. The quiet was unusual but I was thankful for it. My feet stopped as my eyes landed on Camille, sitting in the chair.
"Camille." I greeted her.
She wiped her mouth, putting down the blood bag.
"I hope no one will mind. I helped myself to the Mikaelson family blood stash."
"And how do you feel?"
She smiled.
"I have to admit at first it felt strange, that... metallic taste, but then it was like electricity coursing through my body, a million stars exploding in my mind all at once like nothing I have ever felt before. It was amazing, and all I can think now... is I want to do it again." She excitingly spoke.
Oh, boy...
