"We should be celebrating your return, brother." Klaus smirked.

"Perhaps later." Elijah declined.

"It's a lovely day, the Hollow is dead and my brother is back. Much to the joy of custom suit tailors everywhere, not to mention me. I have to admit, I've missed the Quarter. I'm gonna make you take me out to hear some jazz." Rebekah said, smiling.

"Might I suggest you enjoy the charms of the city while you still can? Marcel will want us gone posthaste, as per our agreement."

"Or perhaps he's changed his mind and he will grant us a reprieve."

"He will grant us no such thing. We're going to meet with him to discuss the terms of our departure." Elijah said.

"I suspect he simply needs to be asked nicely. You boys really should leave these matters to me." She rolled her eyes, leaving.

"Klaus." I tapped him.

"I know that look, you need something. Whatever it is, it can wait. I'm off to talk to Marcel."

"We need to talk about Ella's future."

"She's seven. We're her parents, Ella will go where we go."

"Klaus, we need to have a very real conversation about what's best for her."

"Yes, there are a couple of conversations that need to happen, but we're late." He said before walking out the door.

I shook my head, going upstairs to Ella's room. I sat on the bed next to her, kissing the top of head.

"Hey, sweetie, drawing something?"

"Yes."

"So, I wanted to talk to you about something. Now that all this trouble's behind us, I thought that we could have a chat about what happens next. I know that you want to have a normal life with friends, school, art, sports and... Hey. You okay?" I asked, noticing her staring off.

"I'm fine." She plainly replied.

"Everything's okay going to be okay, I promise."

She nodded, putting her crayon down.

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"Maybe we should leave the Hollow alone. I mean, if we hurt her, she'll only want to hurt us."

"It's not that simple, beautiful. She has to be defeated, otherwise, she's a danger to all of us."

"Can I go back to my drawing?" She spoke, picking up the crayon and looking down.

"Sure, yeah."

"What's wrong?" Freya asked, sitting across from me once she noticed my facial expression.

"I've been thinking all morning about what happened the other day. The Hollow had me. She could've killed me, but she didn't. She just took my blood and left. Why?"

"Well, blood can be used for a number of reasons. Locator spells, healing spells, linking s.." She trailed off as we both realized what my blood was for.

"Linking spell. She didn't link herself to me, and if it wasn't me... It was Ella.  Here, I took this from her room. Do a reading on this and tell me what kind of energy you feel."

She took it, closing her eyes..

"It's the Hollow's magic."

"The blood was supposed to kill her, how is she still alive?" I questioned.

"Unless she found a way to overcome the power and turned it into a strength."

"She knows that I wouldn't hurt my own daughter so she puts herself inside of her.."

"What do we do?"

"I'm not going to let her get hurt." I spoke before going up to her room.

"Hey.. honey. Why don't you come to the kitchen and I'll fix us a snack?"

She stared at me before getting out of the bed. Once we were in the kitchen, I gave her the already-made sandwich, sitting next to her.

"Look. I want my daughter back. I don't care how long it takes or what I have to do, I will get my daughter back."

She turned to me, putting the sandwich down and smirking.

"You won't. Ella is still fighting, but she'll give in soon. Once this is complete, I'll be in her body permanently. You won't hurt me. I'm your daughter.."

"Inadu." Freya whispered, touching Ella's head.

I caught her in my arms as she passed out, going to lie her down.

"You think this'll work?" I asked.

"The pendant was built to hold a person of Mikaelson blood so it will hold Ella. I did my best to repair it."

"Valiant effort... but Ella belongs to me." A voice spoke.

We turned to see a young, teenage like girl, standing before us.

"Over my dead body." I groaned.

"So be it." She smirked.

"You can't just have her. She will fight you."

"I can feel her love for you. It's a shame it's not enough."

My heart ached, hearing those words. She raised her hand right before I felt pain in my chest and I blacked out.
