Epilogue

"You're so slow, Miller." My cousin, Vince chuckled beside me.

I'm sitting here at the island counter of the bar, drinking vodka while I'm watching my soon-to-be fiancee flirt with a man. My hold of the glass tightened when she kissed the guy on his cheeks.

"Oh..." Vince shook his head before drinking his vodka, one shot.

I pursed my lips and stared at my glass while I'm slightly playing with it using my hand. Nakita ko si Czarina na dumiretso na sa mga kaibigan niya sa kabilang table. Her friends started to tease her after that.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang makalipas ang ilang minuto ay sabay silang umalis ng isang lalaki kasama ang isang babae. I stood up when I saw them going out of the bar. Where are they going?

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Vince called me but I didn't looked back.

I saw them getting inside a car. Agad akong sumakay sa sports car ko at pinaharurot iyon pasunod sa kanila. I was playing with my lips using my hand while I'm staring at the car I'm following right now. I frowned when it stopped infront of an unfamiliar house. Ibinaba nila iyong kasama nilang babae, leaving only the two of them inside the car.

Sinundan ko pa ulit sila dahil sa kuryosidad. She is my soon-to-be fiancee so she shouldn't have been doing things like this. Hindi dapat siya sumasama sa kahit sino lang na lalaki!

Nakahinga lang ako nang maluwag nang huminto ang sasakyan sa mansion nila. I know that this is their mansion because my mother told me.

Umalis na ako doon ng makitang nakapasok na siya sa loob ng maayos.

"Go check her out son." Si Mama kinaumagahan.

Ang aga-aga palang ay pinapapunta na ako nila Mama sa mansion ng magiging fiancee ko. Well, I didn't decline because that's also what I wanted to do. Hindi sa gusto ko siya, ayaw ko lang na makikita siyang may kasamang ibang mga lalaki, I don't want to tarnished my name if a news came out about her flirting with another man.

"Hijo!" Her mother was shocked when I entered their gate. Nakabukas ang bintana ng sasakyan ko kaya ko siya narinig.

I stopped my car infront of their double doors before coming out. I just gave her parents a nod before glancing inside their mansion.

"Oh? Are you looking for my daughter?" Her mom.

I licked my lower lip before slightly nodding.

"Yeah."

"She's still asleep, hijo. Wait, I'm going to wake her up."

I immediately stopped her because I also don't want to wake her up. I know that she still has a hangover right now.

"No, it's okay Tita. I...just wanted to check if she's...okay." I cleared my throat.

Her Dad stayed serious the whole time we were talking so I don't know what's inside his mind.

Mga kalahating oras na ata kaming nag-uusap ay hindi pa rin bumababa si Czarina. Nauna nang umalis sa akin ang parents niya dahil may emergency daw sa kompaniya nila. I stayed at their living room for a few minutes more before deciding to leave. Gaano ba katagal matulog ang babaeng iyon?

I thought everything will be fine until our wedding, pumayag ako para sa kasal na 'to para sa kompaniya but I didn't thought that a feeling for her will build up inside me. She runaway and ditched me in our wedding day, I don't care about that at first. Kinausap pa ako ni Mama kung gusto ko daw bang ikansela na lang ang kasal pero hindi ko alam kung bakit tumanggi ako.
