A few days later
The masked man looked at his audience after he revealed the true plan of the Akatsuki.
"That's ridiculous. What Can 4 people do against an entire army of shinobi. How could you even think of such a preposterous idea like declaring a great ninja war. Even for someone like Madara Uchiha." Shot Mei, the Mizukage.
"Well, I won't be the only one you have to worry about. Reina Matsui is with an organization that has not only far more members than I, but also hold five captains that have more power than the five kage combined." He revealed, further intimidating the five Kage.
"Reina Matsui?" Questioned the Raikage, never hearing of that name before, but certainly knowing about the clan she belonged to.
"The village the Matsui built was destroyed almost 17 years ago. No one was spared, the hidden leaf themselves went to investigate and didn't find any survivors." Reminded the Tsuchikage.
There was certainly a lot of explaining to do, but almost no time to say all that needed to be said.
"She was rescued by Shisui Uchiha and hidden from everyone in a village far away from any potential dangers. When she turned 12, she joined an organization that focused heavily on the training of its members rather than missions itself which is the reason not many people know about it. When they complete missions it's done discretely. Meaning they kill anyone who has caught sight of them regardless of age. Even if it's a family member."
"She's only a teenager, there's not much damage she can do that we can't prevent." Spat the Tsuchikage, feeling insulted by how the other Kage looked intimidated by the words of the masked man. "We are the five Kage."
It earned a laugh from the man.
"Sasuke Uchiha is also only a teenager, yet he managed to invade the Kage summit without much trouble at all. Which of you Kage think can handle him and come back without a single scratch?"
The Raikage didn't hesitate to volunteer. He knew that Sasuke was the one that kidnapped Killer Bee. He wanted to teach him a lesson on not to mess with the Raikage so he left the other Kage behind and began to track down Sasuke.
"Ah, the teenagers these days are quite feisty. Very difficult to control." Tsked the masked man.
"I can handle both Sasuke Uchiha and Reina Matsui. Kids must learn to respect their elders." Finally voiced the one in the Hokage position.
He has not officially taken over the position just yet, but is someone who could very well become it.
"That's perfect, because the reason Sasuke even came here was to eliminate you." He informed the soon to be Hokage.
Danzo's eyes narrowed. He suspected that the masked man could have discussed with Sasuke the truth behind the Uchiha clan and Itachi. That is the only possibility he could think of. A truth that must be concealed from everyone.
"Reina also has more than enough reasons to kill you. However, it's very doubtful seeing she's a captain with captain duties, but if you go and look for her I assure you that you'll find her. Not sure that's something you'd want to do though." He mused.
"From the way you speak of her, It seems you're afraid of her." Countered Danzo.
"Well of course I am, and so should you. That is unless Sasuke kills you first." He reminded Danzo who clenched his jaw at the continuous insults.
To say that teenagers had the ability to put so much as a scratch on him was the biggest insult that anyone could say to him.
"What exactly is the goal of Reina and the organization she is involved with?" Questioned Gaara wishing to have a little more insight on her.
Looking away from Danzo, the masked man put his eyes on Gaara. The youngest Kage present, yet the Kage who asked the
more relevant questions.
"All I will tell you is that she searches for 9 crystals which were made by her ancestors. She has only found 3 and will begin to take finding them far more serious now that she has passed the age of 16 which is the age where a Matsui awakens the ability to pin point where the remaining crystals are located. Another important event that must take place is that a blue moon is needed to activate its full power which will be in two years. We can work together and take both her and the organization down. If you so wish, you could try and take me down during the process as well." The masked man proposed.
While his proposition was tempting, the Kage knew better than to trust someone like him. All of his actions have proven that he wasn't someone to be trusted regardless of the circumstances.
"Let me guess, you asked her to join you first and she declined and now you want to ask us so you won't be the one eliminated so early in the game?" Asked Mei, believing to know a lot about young women and she's certainly right in this case.
"How did you guess?" Chuckled the man.
"You clearly fear her and the organization far more than you fear us. And you speak to us as if we are children, with all these warnings." She sighed.
The Kage are no fools. They are in the position they are in because it is the one they rightfully deserve. Perhaps one of them isn't, but the rest are.
"The ranking system in your villages is so inaccurate that a genin Like Naruto Uzumaki can kill a Jonin and even an Anbu if he really wanted to. However, this organization has rankings which are absolute. The captains have their own rankings as well. Anyone in the organization can challenge them and if they win they become the next captain. The captain that loses will then take the rank that the other person previously had. I heard that it has been the same captains since Reina Matsui was promoted when her captain died two years ago in a battle against the captain who has been ranked 1st for 10 consecutive years."
"... I have met Madara Uchiha before, and he doesn't get intimidated by anyone. Who exactly are you?" Noticed the Tsuchikage who has been observing the mysterious masked man.
With the Akatsuki's history, it wasn't a surprise at how much information they had about a different organization. They had a lot of people with strange abilities which could be very helpful to collect information.
Just in that moment before the person questioned could answer, Sasuke appeared on the ceiling.
All of the attention came off of the masked man and towards Sasuke who searched for Danzo. Once he finally caught sight of the old man, he was already out of his seat and into the hallway.
Sasuke planned on following him, but was stopped by the Kage.
The masked man smiled under his mask at Sasuke's presence.
"Just in time."
