Naruto looked up at the Clift where the enemy stood.
"So is that the real Madara? Or are there two of them?" He asked unsure about it.
By two he didn't mean clones. There was a man with a mask claiming to be Madara, yet there was also a reanimated shinobi claiming to be Madara as well.
You can't reanimate someone who is alive, it simply doesn't work that way, so what is going on?
"This war has showed me that just about anything is possible." Responded Temari.
While the two blondes spoke, Gaara took it upon himself to take the enemy off the cliff where they could have an advantage.
He was successful in doing so. Madara jumped off and landed on the ground while the former Tsuchikage hid himself from view.
"He's coming!" Naruto yelled seeing Madara waste no time in starting this fight.
Every shinobi got ready for what they will face and quickly charged towards the enemy.
Madara was amused that they still had a drop of hope in them.
One thing was for sure, he will make that drop evaporate.
Without using any Jutsu at all and solely taijutsu he took out every shinobi that came less than two feet away from him. He even used their own weapons against them.
Madara didn't have anything put his arms and legs as weapons, and for someone like him, that was all he would need against this small group of shinobi that he only saw as a mere warmup.
At least that's what he thought. He didn't see any potential in this group until he was hit with a Jutsu that threw him off his feet, literally.
The Jutsu didn't do much damage on him, but the fact that it affected him at all touched a nerve.
He stood up and dusted himself off as the wind user made herself known.
She made it clear that she didn't want to be underestimated by him or anyone else for that matter.
"You don't want me to underestimate you? Ok, than that means you can take this." He voiced and as soon as he finished he performed a fire style Jutsu that could have made every allied shinobi in the area turn to ash had the water users not interfered.
About 8 water users created a wall of water against Madara's wide range fire Jutsu.
The counterattack caused a massive amount of steam to mask the battlefield leaving the allied shinobi force at a disadvantage.
Madara could see just fine in the mist while the other shinobi could not. That lead to many more shinobi dying.
Gaara could sense the amount of shinobi dying and with his sand he pushed Madara out of the steam where Naruto would meet him with one of his strongest Jutsu, the rasenshuriken.
The current Tsuchikage pushed Madara towards Naruto using an earth style Jutsu so Madara wouldn't have enough time to avoid the attack.
However, Madara didn't need to avoid anything. He absorbed Naruto's Jutsu without it causing much damage on him.
How was he able to absorb it? Simple, he had the rinnegan on his side. One thing that the allied shinobi force dreaded.
Not many were aware of what the rinnegan was, but the ones that did were terrified.
"How is this possible..?" Questioned Naruto body trembling at the amount of chakra this man had.
He could have sworn that Madara didn't have the rennigan a few moments ago...
