My Purpose

Chapter 12

"We just received word that the 8th crystal's location was found." One of the ninja informed their supervisor.

"They're not going in order I see." the supervisor said with a sadistic smile on his face knowing that regardless of the order, they'll soon meet the enemy.

"Apparently Reina Matsui was not spotted. It was a male, the same one that warned HQ about the ten tails. He goes by the name Yami." The ninja added.

The supervisor nodded seemingly even more excited now.

"Thank you Jugo."

"I'm gonna make sure to ask that witch where Sasuke is. I know she has him." Spat a red headed woman.

"Calm down Karin, Sasuke can handle himself. He isn't a child ya know." Shrugged a male with sharp teeth as he calmly spun himself in his chair.

Karin didn't take this very well which resulted in her spinning the chair enough to make the previously calm spins into far more aggressive ones.

The white haired male screamed out as his body slowly turned into water every time he hit something.

"That's if Reina comes here. We could get a different person." Reasoned Jugo knowing the possibility of Reina coming to this place is 50/50.

"Either way we'll have a new specimen." Chuckled Orochimaru as he looked in the direction of the crystal. "Had I known they'd gone extinct, I would have experiment on the Matsui far sooner."

No one else in the room thought the same way Orochimaru did. They all agreed that the man was twisted in ways that were unimaginable.

"Hey! The only reason I agreed to this is because I'll be pardoned of my crimes. I want nothing to do with this experiment situation." Suigetsu vocalized his disagreement as the spins of his chair came to a stop.

From being in the same group as Karin for so long, he has gotten used to her violent actions and can easily recover from most of them fairly quickly,

"Didn't you promise to not experiment on people anymore?" Questioned Karin remembering the deal he made with Kakashi.

"No one has to know." Orochimaru smiled as he stood up from his spot.

The four ninja were currently located in one of the many hideouts Orochimaru had. The tunnels would be able to give them enough time to prepare if an attack comes.

Karin made a disgusted face, but her expression quickly changed when she felt the chakra of two individuals above ground, still a pretty good distance away.

One of them being very familiar to her.

Her eyes widened and her feet started moving without her still fully processing that she was moving.

At first Orochimaru was going to let her go, but something happened that made him change his mind.

He quickly stopped the red head and signaled Jugo to hold her when she tried to frantically escape his hold.

"Let me go! Sasuke is out there!" She yelled at Jugo, hitting him as hard as she could to have him let go of her but nothing helped.

"She killed every single one of my snakes that surrounded the perimeter... I'm sure you can sense the new opponent that's walking towards us." Orochimaru said as he glanced at the Uzumaki.

She stopped flapping around and stood still to fully sense the chakra of the two individuals. One clearly belonged to Sasuke and it was the only individual she focused on, but now that she has a clearer mind, she put her focus on the other person.
