Sakura finally made it out the forest in time to see Reina on her knees with both of her hands on the ground holding her body up.

At first she thought that Reina was gravely injured since her glow began to fade, but then she realized that she was wrong.

The Matsui's cries were one of the most painful that she's heard in a while.

Sakura didn't need to know the reasons behind those cries to know that Reina has kept it bottled up for many years. This was her chance to finally release those emotions and Sakura wasn't going to get in the way of that.

Just before she was about to turn away and leave, she saw someone appear by Reina's side. Upon a closer look she realized that this person was Sasuke.

He knelt down to Reina's side and said a few things to her that made her look up at him.

Sakura could see Reina also say something back to Sasuke. It was all inaudible, but that didn't matter because very soon, Sasuke pushed her against his chest in a way to comfort her. His gesture made this sad feeling wash over Sakura.

Instead of staying, Sakura decided to walk away. Reina and Sasuke were both ok, that's all that mattered...

So that's what she did. She walked away and went in the direction of her group to help them who were the ones that truly needed the help.

Jumping up on a branch She began to travel back by jumping on the branches.

"Listen everyone. All the captains have been taken care of. Naruto finished his fight with the leader a few seconds ago and will be returning to help the hidden leaf." Sakura could hear Ino's voice. "If any group needs further assistance, immediately report that to us."

She was relieved that her teammate made it out alive.

This fight has been overwhelming for everyone, and for once, in a good way. Many got to see loved ones, and not in the way they did during the war. This time these people were real and here to stay.

The death rate also dramatically decreased with Reina and her team helping them, but there was still plenty of losses.

They have simply done so much that Sakura feels as if she has done nothing but get in peoples way.

She shook her head trying to stop thinking so negatively about herself.

That exact moment she became unaware of her surroundings was the exact moment that an enemy in hiding decided to attack.

The enemy got out of hiding and with full force hooked his arm around Sakura's neck, pulling her with him to the ground.

Fortunately for Sakura, she never collided with the ground because The presence of the enemy's arm around her disappear and a new pair of arms caught her before she could crash.

Groaning, Sakura opened her eyes and lifted her hand to her neck, but soon realized that the pain was gone. Self healing worked very quickly and efficiently.

Looking towards her savior she saw Reina looking up, wondering why, Sakura did the same only to see Sasuke burning the enemy with these black flames he often used.

"I'm sorry..., I'm aware that you uhm... have feelings for Sasuke. I asure You that what you saw back there won't happen again." Sakura heard Reina say as she let go of her.

Now Sakura was sitting behind a tree as Sasuke made sure the enemy was taken care of.

Reina looked down at Sakura with an apologetic look on her face.

"When I came to my senses I felt your chakra distancing from where I was. I suspected that you probably saw what happened moments prior." She explained as to how she knew Sakura saw.
