Natsu's POV

I woke up and got dressed. I walked to the guild and when I walked in Gray came towards me. "What?" I said. "Why were you crying yesterday?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "Since when did you care?" I asked. "I always have done, why wouldn't I?" He asked. "Because you always fight me." I said. "That doesn't mean I don't care about you!" He raised his voice. "Well it feels like it!" I shouted and ran off. I heard the guild go silent which means they were probably all looking at Gray. I felt bad for shouting at him but I didn't care. It's his fault for getting involved in my problems.

Gray's POV

I watched as Natsu ran out of the guild after shouting at me. The whole guild turned go look at me and I just stood there not knowing what to do. Erza started coming towards me and when she got close enough she grabbed my wrist and dragged me out the guild. "Go after him." She said. "Hu?" "Go after him!" She raised her voice. I nodded my head and went in the direction that Natsu went in. I sprinted and saw his pink hair. I started getting slower and I started walking. He was sat by a tree crying. "Are you okay?" I asked as I got closer to him. He saw me and wiped his tears away. "I'm fine." He said and got up. He started walking away and I hugged him from behind. He grabbed my arms and I tried not to let go. He started digging his nails into me which made my arms start to bleed. He then kicked my shin which caused me to let go and hold it in pain. I noticed him run off and I just let him.

Natsu's POV

I kicked Gray's shin and ran off. I headed to my house and when I got home I grabbed the bottle of vodka I had in the fridge and grabbed a shot glass. I poured a shot for myself and drank it. I poured another one and drank it as well. I had a 3rd and then a 4th. I gave up and just grabbed the bottle and started chugging it until someone took it off me. I looked at whoever it was and noticed Gray standing there. He was holding the bottle of vodka and I reached out to grab it and he moved his arm causing me to fall off the counter I was sat on. I got up and felt dizzy. I looked up and the ceiling looked weird. "Why does the ceiling look like that?" I asked. "Like what?" He asked. I pointed at it and fell over. He put his hands under my arms and picked me up. "I-I ooooo!" I shouted. He stood me up properly and I fell over again. "Natsu!" He raised his voice and picked me back up again. "Weee." I screamed and he sighed.

Gray's POV

I picked Natsu up and he was obviously drunk. "Weee." He whispered. I needed Erza. I guess I'll just have to take him to the guild. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the door. He fell over and I picked him up again. I started dragging him again and the minute we got through the door he fell over again. I rolled my eyes and sighed. I picked him up bridal style and ran to the guild. When I got there I put him down and opened the door. "Erza!" I shouted. She immediately looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "Natsu's drunk!" I raised my voice. "Oooo a butterfly!" Natsu said in an excited voice. He started chasing it and tried to eat it. "Natsu no!" I shouted. I chased after him and dragged him back to the doors. "Stay." I said aggressively. "He's really drunk." I said. "How much has he had?" Erza asked. "Like three quarters of a bottle of vodka." I said. "Three quarters?!!" Erza shouted. "Yes! Please help me!!" I shouted. She ran towards me and looked at Natsu. He was rolling around in mud on the floor laughing. "Uh, that's your problem not mine." She said and walked off. "Erza!!" I shouted. "ERZA?!!" I screamed. I sighed and looked back at Natsu. I sat down next to him and picked him up. I carried him to my house and put him in the bath.

"Wash yourself." I said. "No." He said. "Natsu!" I raised my voice. "No." He said. "Why?" I asked. "You know when you're drowning you don't actually inhale until right before you black out. It's called voluntary apnea. It's like no matter how much you're freaking out, the instinct to not let any water in is so strong that you won't open your mouth until you feel like your head's exploding. That's when it stops hurting. It's not scary anymore. It's actually kind of peaceful." He said. "Where'd you get that from?" I asked. "Teen wolf." He answered. "That is such a deep quote." I said. "Mhm." "Now please wash yourself." I said. "No." He said. "You're gonna get mud all over my house." I said. He had an evil smile and ran into my living room. "NO!!" I shouted and grabbed him getting mud on my white clothes. Wait where have my clothes gone?!! I looked behind me and they were on the floor. I looked back at Natsu and he was trying not to close his eyes. I grabbed his wrist and walked him into my bedroom. He moved my hand into his and smiled. "Grab some clothes and put them on." I said and he grabbed a hoodie and some shorts that I had. He put them on and stared at me. "What?" I said. I walked over to him and pushed him on the bed. "Sleep." I said. He grabbed my neck and pulled me on the bed. "Sleep." He said. "With you?" I asked. I blushed and he smiled and nodded his head. He grabbed the duvet and put it over my head. He got comfortable and fell asleep. I did the same and just before I fell asleep I felt his arm wrap around me.
