Telling The Guild

Natsu's POV

I woke up and got dressed. I walked to the guild and once I got there I sat with Erza, Cana and Mirajane. I was tapping my leg and Mirajane noticed that. "Natsu, are you okay?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled. "I'm fine." I answered. She smiled back and I put my head in my hands. "I'm bored." I said and looked at Erza. "I feel like we do the same thing every day and there's just no point to life." I said in a sad tone. Cana spat her drink out and looked really shocked. "What the hell did you just say?" She asked. "Never mind..." I whispered and rested my chin on the table. "Are you okay?" Mira asked and I looked down. 'Say no.' I thought. 'Just say no.' Say yes. I'm going to do the opposite of what you say so there's no point. "Natsu?" Cana said. I looked at her and felt tears start to form in my eyes. Erza came towards me and hugged me. I burst into tears which caused the whole guild to look at me. Everyone went silent and I started to panic knowing that I would have to tell them.

"Natsu?" Mira said breaking the silence. I looked up and saw Gajeel running towards me. He hugged me as well which made me cry even more. I could hear people whispered and I looked down. "Natsu are you okay?" I heard Cana ask. "He doesn't look okay." Gajeel said and I saw Wendy sat in the corner looking confused. "Do you want to tell us what's wrong?" Mira asked in a soft tone. I nodded my head and wiped the tears away. I could Asuka (Bisca's kid) looking at me and I sighed. "I'd recommend taking Asuka away from here, she wouldn't want to know." I said and Bisca nodded her head. She took Asuka to Gramps' office and came back.

"So what is it Natsu?" Cana asked. "I find it so hard to act normal and I guess I finally couldn't do it anymore." I said and everyone was confused. "I want do die." I said and everyone was shocked. They all looked sad. "I'm broken." My voice cracked. Wendy ran towards me and hugged me. "I think you should tell Asuka but in a way that she would understand." Bisca said and I nodded my head. "Yeah she'll be wondering why you don't want to play with her." Erza said and I nodded my head again. I split the hug with everyone who was hugging me and got up. I went into Gramps' office and wiped the tears away.

"Natsu?" Gramps said and I looked at him. "They told me to tell Asuka about you know..." I whispered and he nodded his head. "I told them." I added and Gramps looked shocked. I walked towards Asuka and she hugged me. I put her on the chair and sat in front of her on the floor. "You seem sad." She said and poked my nose. I laughed and she smiled. "I'm sad because I have a thing called depression that makes me feel sad." I said. "Can it be cured?" She asked and I nodded my head. "Good because I don't want you to be sad." She said and I smiled. "I want you to understand that I might not want to play with you because of how sad I might be or if I just don't really feel like playing." I said. "I understand Natsu." She said and smiled. I picked her up and took her into the guild hall. I put her down and she ran towards Bisca who picked her up and went home. I looked at Erza and walked towards her.

"I'm gonna go home." I said and she nodded her head. I walked out of the guild and to Gray's house. I opened the door and closed it with my foot which made it slam. I jumped and saw Luna run towards me. She was barking and ran to the bathroom. I followed her and it was shut. She started scratching at the door and I tried to open it but it was locked. I panicked and tried to open it again. I could smell blood in there. I heard the door unlock and I opened it. I saw Gray at the sink washing blood off his hand.

"Are you okay?!" I asked in a panicky tone. "I cut myself when making food." He said and Luna started barking at him. "Where's Happy?" I asked while looking around. I had noticed that he wasn't here. "He went to see Carla and Wendy." Gray answered and I looked down. I walked out of the bathroom with Luna following me. I went into our room and slammed the door shut without meaning to. I jumped and looked down. I burst into tears and heard Gray's phone go off.

Gray's POV

I watched Natsu walk off and go into our room. He slammed the door and I raised an eyebrow. He looks sad. I heard my phone go off and I ran towards it. I brang it to the bathroom and looked for a plaster for my finger. I looked at my and turned it on. Why are there tons of texts from the fairy tail group chat?

Mirajane- Has anyone checked on Natsu?

Erza- No

Gajeel- No but maybe Gray has

Gray- Hu

Mirajane- Oh yeah, Gray wasn't at the guild today

Erza- Ah

Cana- Oh

Wendy- I'm with Happy so maybe Natsu and Gray are alone

Gray- Yeah he keeps slamming doors whenever he closes them

Erza- Can you check on him for us

Gray- Uh sure?

Erza- Thanks Gray

I turned my phone off and found a plaster. I put it on my finger and went to our room. I stood outside the door and could hear crying. I walked in and Natsu was sat on the bed hugging a pillow. He looked at me and looked away. He wiped his tears away and started stroking Luna. "What happened?" I asked. He started crying again and I sat next to him. He rested his head on my shoulder and Luna put her head on my lap. "I told the guild about my depression." He said sadly. I was shocked. "And then I had to tell Asuka." He added. "What did you say to her?" I asked. "I just told her that I have something that makes me sad and sometimes I might not want to play with her." He replied. I heard Natsu's phone go off and then mine. He picked his phone up and went on the dragon slayer group chat. Since when was that a thing?

Gajeel- Oi Cobra

Cobra- Whattt?!

Gajeel- I bet you 5 pounds that you can't find where I live

Cobra- Haha, I already know

Sting- Broooo

Rogue- I mean I know where Cobra lives so yeah

Sting- Since when?!

Rogue- Ages ago

Wendy- Natsu

Natsu- I have been summoned

Wendy- Can Happy stay at mine tonight?

Natsu- If he wants to

Wendy- Thank youu

Gajeel- Omg guys

Natsu- Yes

Sting- What

Rogue- Hu

Gajeel- We should have a like a sleepover one time

Sting- I'm down

Rogue- I'll join

Natsu- When?

Gajeel- Next week or something

Natsu- I'll join then

Cobra- Can I join

Gajeel- Of course you can Cobra

Gajeel- Natsu

Natsu- Yes

Gajeel- You should bring Gray

Laxus- I've only just joined the conversation but bye to whoever is going

Natsu turned his phone off and put it on the bed. "I'm tired." He whispered and tried to keep his eyes open. After a while he gave in and fell asleep. I layed down and put Natsu's head on my chest. I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.
