Natsu's POV

I woke up and noticed that Gray was on my phone. I looked over his shoulder and he was reading my texts with Aki. I started panicking and noticed that he was daydreaming. "What are you doing?" I asked. He turned around and dropped my phone. "Nothing." He panicked. "I know you were reading them..." I sighed. "What do you want to tell me?" He asked. "It's nothing." I said. "Natsu?" He said. "I don't trust you anymore, you were reading my messages." I said. "I want to know what's going on." He said. "You're just like the rest, acting like you care." I said. "But you don't." I said harshly. "Natsu, I do, I really do." He said. "You don't! None of you care!" I raised my voice. "Screw them, Natsu, I care about you." He said. "You don't." I said. "I do." He said. "Why?" My voice cracked. "Because you're Natsu, you care about others and you're really nice." He said. "No I'm not, I'm worthless and a waste of space." I said. Gray was shocked. I started crying and I could see tears starting to form in his eyes. "I don't deserve to be here!" I raised my voice. He started crying and I ran off. I ran to the lake and I burst into tears.

Gray's POV

I watched as Natsu ran out. I was crying and I wiped the tears away. I got my phone out and started texting Erza.

Gray- Natsu said he's a waste of space and he doesn't deserve to be here

Erza- Did he say anything else?

Gray- He called himself worthless

Erza- Where is he now?

Gray- I don't know

Erza- How?

Gray- He ran off

Erza- Find him

Erza- Find him right now!

Gray- Okay, go tell Gramps

Erza- I will, tell me when you find him

Gray- I will

Erza- Keep him safe

Gray- I will

I turned my phone off and threw it on my bed. I went to the lake and saw pink hair. I realised that it was Natsu and I ran over to him. He saw me and hugged me. He was shaking and he started squeezing me. "I get these voices in my head telling me to kill myself and to just end it all!" He raised his voice in my chest. He was crying really hard and I felt tears started to fill my eyes. "I can't deal with this anymore!" He shouted. I stayed silent and listened to him. "I want to die Gray, I want to just end it all, I tried to drown myself but Gildarts saved me." He cried. "I just want *sob* to die!!" He shouted. I noticed Erza and Gramps were standing there watching us. Natsu noticed as well and ran off again. "Natsu!" I shouted. I chased after him and tackled him to the ground. He pushed me off him and started punching my chest.

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM?!!" He shouted. "I HATE YOU!!!" I screamed and I hugged him. Erza and Gramps came towards us and he looked at them both. "Why Natsu..." Erza whispered. "You want to know why, oh I'll tell you why." He said and wiped his tears away. "Everyday Lucy is a bitch to me and Happy is constantly harassing me and I have this voice in my head telling me to end it. That's why!" He raised his voice at the end. "Natsu, you could've told us, we would've listened." Erza said. "Yeah right." He said and sighed.

"Do you want to go to the guild?" Gramps asked. Natsu nodded his head and we started walking towards the guild. The whole way there Natsu was chewing his hoodie and playing with his nails. Once we arrived there Gramps took Natsu upstairs alone so me and Erza just sat there talking about the events that had happened today.

Natsu's POV

Gramps took me to his office and I noticed that Gildarts was in there. He smiled and walked out. He closed the door quietly and I sighed. "How long have you been feeling like this?" Gramps asked. "Like what?" I asked, trying to avoid the question. "You know what I mean." He said. He sounded really disappointed in me. My eyes started to water and I started chewing on my sleeve again. "4 years..." I whispered. "And you never thought to tell me." He said. "You wouldn't care..." I whispered. "Have you ever cut yourself?" He asked. "Yes, I do it all the time." I answered. "Would you be comfortable to show me?" He asked. I nodded my head and took my hoodie off. I took my bandages off and he looked at all my cuts. I took my shirt off and he was shocked by how many there were. (I keep thinking strip for me cuz my friend said that once 😅) He sighed and I could see tears in his eyes. "Go get Gray." He said. "Like this?" I asked. "Put your hoodie on." He said and I did. The minute I walked out the room I heard him burst into tears. I went downstairs and grabbed Gray. I took him upstairs and Gramps told me to show him all my cuts.

Gray's POV

Gramps told Natsu to show me his cuts so he did. He took his hoodie off and I saw them all. "Why didn't I notice you felt like this?" I asked. "Because I got so good at hiding it." He said. "You know that I love you right?" I asked. He nodded his head and I hugged him. Gramps seemed confused and Natsu laughed. "We're dating." He said. Gramps smiled and I kissed Natsu's cheek. "Take care of him." Gramps said to me. I nodded my head and I dragged Natsu downstairs. On the way down Natsu put his shirt on and his hoodie back on. When we reached the bottom of the staircase we saw Erza sitting on a table by herself so we went over to her. "Hi." Natsu said. "What did Master say?" She asked. "Not much, he just wanted to see my cuts." He said. "You cut yourself?" She asked. Natsu nodded his head and sadly smiled. "I'm tired." Natsu said. "Come on." I said and took Natsu home.

When we got home Natsu stroked Luna and went into our room. I smiled and watched Natsu fall asleep. He looked adorable. When he fell asleep I quietly put Luna on a lead and took her for a walk. When I got back she went into her bed and fell asleep. I decided to get some sleep as well so I went into my room and quietly got into the bed. I was careful not to wake Natsu up. I slowly put the duvet over me and got comfortable. I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.
