First Night With The Puppy

Natsu's POV

I woke up and looked at the time. 1am. I sighed and saw Cara scratching at the door. I smiled and got up from the sofa. I picked her up and took her outside. She ran over to a bush and started peeing. I waited for her to come back and after a while she did. (I really wanted to put 'but she never did' lol) I picked her up and took her back inside. I closed the door behind us and put her down. I sat down on the sofa and almost fell asleep but then I heard a loud bang. I got up and saw Cara sat in the kitchen sink. She had managed to turn the tap and and knock over a glass. It almost rolled off the cabinet but I managed to grab it before it did. I put it back where it was and heard the bedroom door open. I saw Gray looked quite worried and confused at the same time. I picked Luna up and put her back down on the floor.

"What happened?" He asked tiredly. "Cara jumped in the sink." I said and he nodded his head. "Go back to sleep." I said and he closed the door. I could see Cara licking the floor in the corner of my eye. I walked over to her and could see honey on it. I pushed her away and cleaned it up. After a while I went back to sleep on the sofa.

2 hours later

I woke up to hear whining right next to my ear. I sat up and could see Cara holding a toy in her mouth. I sighed and took it out of her mouth. I put it on the cabinet and went back to sleep.

No one's POV

As Natsu fell asleep Cara looked for a way to get to her toy. She scratched at the cabinet but nothing happened. She tried to jump high enough to pull it down but she wasn't big enough. She jumped as high as she could and managed to get on the cabinet. She picked the toy up with her teeth and looked down. She couldn't get down without hurting herself. She started whining but Natsu was sleeping so he couldn't hear her whines. She whined even louder which caught the attention of Gray. He got out of bed and went into the kitchen closing the door behind him. He saw Cara sat on the cabinet whining to get down.

"What are you doing up there?" He asked while picking her up. He put her down on the floor and she ran over to Natsu. She put the toy on his face and he woke up. He took the toy off of his face and put it on the floor. Cara picked it up and put it on his stomach. He eventually gave in and started playing with her. Gray went back in their room and made sure that he closed the door behind him so Luna couldn't get out. She wasn't even awake so he didn't have to worry.

Natsu's POV

After a while Cara stopped playing so I decided to try to get some sleep but I couldn't as I felt something pull on my hair. I looked up to see Cara pulling at my hair. I lightly pushed her away and she jumped off the sofa. She started biting my hand so I moved it under my head. (She's teething so that's why she's biting Natsu) She started biting my other arm so I moved that on my stomach. She continued to bite me so I pushed her away. I sat up and slowly opened the bedroom door. I opened the wardrobe door and grabbed a hoodie. I put it on and realised that I had left the door open. I looked around and saw no Luna. "Shit." I whispered and ran into the kitchen to see Luna following Cara around.

I picked Cara up and Luna started whining. I put her back down and they stared sniffing each other. I saw a shadow and realised that Gray was watching us. I looked at him and back at the dogs. "How'd that happen?" He asked. "Cara started biting me and I forgot to shut the door when I grabbed a hoodie." I explained and he nodded his head. I brought my attention back to the dogs who were now following each other around. "Wait, I want to see something." I said and walked into our room. "Luna come here." I said in a soft tone and she did as I said. I walked out and she tilted her head. "Stay." I ordered. I picked Cara up and slowly walked towards Luna. "Stay." I repeated. I layed Cara down next to her and they both jumped onto the bed, trying to get away from each other. Cara then put her paw on Luna's head. I smiled and picked Cara up. I took her back into the living room and layed down on the sofa. She jumped up and layed on my stomach.

"I'm guessing I have to go to sleep now." Gray said and I laughed. He went back into our room and I suddenly felt really tired. I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.
