Natsu's Age

Natsu's POV

I woke up and took Luna for a walk. When I got back home I noticed that Gray was still sleeping. He normally wakes up around this time. I saw his eyes move and he was struggling to breathe. He must be having sleep paralysis. I can't wake him up and he probably can't hear me. I waited for a few seconds and he seemed to have calmed down. After about a minute he woke up and seemed scared. He hugged me and I realised that he was shaking a lot. "It's okay, I get what you just had a lot." I said in a calm voice. "I didn't know what to do." He said in a panicky tone. "So what did you do?" I asked. "I just layed there and let whatever the hell that was do it's thing." He said. "If it ever happens again don't open your eyes and try to be calm." I said. "Calm?!" He raised his voice. "It wakes you up, when you are calm you'll naturally wake up." I said. "But it was scary." He said. "The second time I had it I was perfectly calm and I was fine." I said.

"Then what happened the first time?" He asked. "I thought I was having a panic attack whilst sleeping so I calmed myself down." I said. "I don't wanna sleep ever again." He said. "And if you don't sleep it'll happen again." I said. "But I don't want it to happen again." He said. "Then sleep tonight." I said. He looked down and I got up. I got dressed and got some food. I went into the bathroom and Luna started barking at me. I let her in and she sniffed the room. She ran into the kitchen and ran back in the bathroom.

She ran in circles around my feet and I started laughing. I went to the sink and got my toothbrush. Luna started barking again and I raised an eyebrow. I went down to her height and she took my toothbrush off me and ran off with it. I chased after her and she put it on the floor. It had her saliva on it. "Oh come on." I said angrily. I heard a door open and Gray came towards us. I showed him my toothbrush and he made a disgusted face. I put it in the bin and sat on the counter. "Now I need to buy a new one." I said. "I'll buy you one." Gray said. "You don't have to." I said. "I need to buy some stuff anyways." He said. "How old are you?" He asked. "Why?" I asked. "Because." He said. "17." I said in a shy voice. "Haha, you're not even 18 yet." He teased. "Whatever." I said. "Wait, you were under age drinking." He said. "And?" I said. "That's illegal." He laughed. "I'm allowed to drink beer, wine and cider." I said. "You were drinking vodka." He face palmed. "So?" I asked. "That's illegal." He sighed. "Nah really?" I said sarcastically. Gray rolled his eyes and grabbed some money.

"If I buy you wkd do you promise to not get drunk?" He asked. "That's a hard promise to make, I can't control my brain." I said. "But please buy me some." I said. He smiled and left the house. Did he just leave me alone? Eyo, he did. The trust. Ahhh yes. I raided the kitchen and Luna followed me around. I noticed that Gray had an Alexa. I smiled and ate a grape. "Alexa." I said. It responded and I laughed. "Play feel invincible slowed." I said and it started playing it. Slowed songs are honestly the best.

About an hour later Gray came back and he looked at me weirdly. "What is your music taste?" He asked. "I don't know at this point." I replied and then I hid my face in my hands because of what song just came on. Corpse- E-girls are ruining my life. Gray started laughing and I was just embarrassed. Gray took some stuff out of a bag and he gave me a toothbrush. "Thanks." I said and went into the bathroom. Luna ran after me so I shut the door before she could get in. "Luna." I heard Gray call. I heard her footsteps go near him so I guess she went towards him. I brushed my teeth and went back into the kitchen. Luna started following me around everywhere. I turned the music off and Gray raised an eyebrow.

"You probably don't wanna listen to my music." I said. "Who said I didn't?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. He took something about of the fridge and gave it to me. Wkd. "When can I have it?" I asked. "I don't know." He said and walked off. Eyo does he seriously trust me? I don't know. I went to the sofa and sat on it. Luna came towards me and sat on my lap. I stroked her and she ran to her food bowl. I got up and fed her. (I don't have a dog but I have a cat so I'm guessing that you'd feed them the same way) I washed my hands after and sat back down. I turned the TV on but there was nothing to watch. I decided to check what Gray was doing and he was sat on the bed with his headphones in.

"Whatcha listening to?" I asked and sat next to him. "No time to die." He answered. "I knew you liked that song." I said. "It's alright." He said. "It's better than alright." I said and laughed. I heard my phone go off and I checked it. "Since when did Gramps have my number?" I asked. "I don't know." Gray said. "Ah, Erza told him." I said.

Gramps- Natsu, can you please come to the guild, I need to speak to you about something

Gramps- Erza gave me your number

Natsu- Okay

I turned my phone off and got up. "Gramps wants to speak to me." I said. "Okay." Gray said. I kissed him and left. Once I arrived at the guild everyone was happy to see me. "Natsu, you haven't been here in ages." I heard Gajeel say. "Hey Natsu." Lisanna said. I waved at her and went upstairs. I knocked on the door and Gramps let me in. I sat down and he did as well.

"How old are you?" He asked. "Why?" "Just asking." He said. I raised an eyebrow and sighed. "So?" "I know you're trying to get me to do something." I said. "You're smarter than I thought." He said. I smiled and he grabbed a pen. "I want you to get some help." He said. "Okay, I doubt that would work." I said. "Why do you think that?" He asked. "There would be no point since I probably wouldn't want it." I said, trying to avoid the question. "Okay, but can you at least try to get some help?" He asked. "Fine." I said. "Okay, good, so, I'll ask you again, how old are you?" He asked. "17." I said. He wrote it down and I raised an eyebrow. "Do you want help?" He asked. "Depends." I said. "Depends on what?" He asked. "As long as only me, you, Gray and Erza know." I said. "Okay." He said and filled in some paperwork.

After about an hour I answered tons of questions that he had and I was finally allowed to go home. Once I got back home I ran into our room and fell headfirst on the bed. "Eyo you good?" I heard Gray ask. I could hear the worry in his voice. I smiled and I heard him move slightly. "Did you die?" He asked. I laughed and put my thumbs up. He took a sigh of relief and I felt slightly offended. "Eyo, you're glad I'm dead?" I asked. "No, I'm glad you're alright." He said. I moved towards the pillow and got comfortable. "Can I just sleep?" I asked. "If you want." He said and I smiled. I always felt safe when Gray was near. That's what I liked about him. He would always keep me safe.
