Attempt Two

Natsu's POV

I woke up and went to the guild. Once I got there I sat at a table and listened to music. I was sat with Erza, Gajeel, Wendy and Laxus. The song experience came on by ludovico Einaudi. I put it to full volume and I didn't care that the people around me could slightly hear it. This song is beautiful. I looked at the door and saw Gray coming towards us. He sat down in front of me and I smiled at him. This song is just amazing. I don't know how but it just makes me feel like there is something on my chest. It's weird. This song just explains so much but there is no lyrics. I should be careful because I might start crying. That has happened before. I get distracted and don't even notice the tears.

Gray's POV

"So, how are all of you?" Erza asked. "I'm good." Wendy said in a sweet voice. "I challenged Gildarts to a fight yesterday." Laxus said. "Who won?" Gajeel asked. "None of us, we both got too tired and layed on the floor while staring at the stars." He replied. "Laxus, were you in the guild yesterday?" Erza asked. "No, why?" He asked. "So you missed out on the news?" Gajeel asked. Laxus raised an eyebrow and I blushed. "Natsu and Gray are dating." Wendy said. Laxus looked at me and looked shocked. "Wait, seriously?" He asked. I blushed even more and nodded my head. "Can you prove it?" He asked. "Maybe when Natsu wants to socialize." I said and he laughed.

2 hours later

"I've been waiting for like 5 hours." Laxus said. "2 actually." I corrected him. "Please just kiss him or something." He begged. I rolled my eyes and stood on the table. Natsu looked up at me and I looked down at him. He took one of his earphones out and raised an eyebrow. I picked him up and sat back down. I sat him on my lap and he put his earphone back in. "Is that enough proof?" I asked. "I've been waiting for 2 hours Gray." Laxus said angrily. I started laughing and so did everyone else. "Natsu doesn't like kissing me in public." I said. "Why didn't you tell me that then?!" Gajeel shouted which caused a lot of the guild members to look at us. "I don't know." I whispered.

3 hours later

At Gray's house

Natsu's POV

I was sat in the bathroom looking at the knife on the floor in front of me. Do it, no one cares until you are dead. Everyone will be happy to see you gone. No one is stopping you now. Just end it all. I picked it up and put it to my neck. I slowly cut it and heard footsteps coming from outside. I cut deeper and the footsteps stopped. Was Gray outside? Too late. I stopped cutting once I was satisfied that it would kill me and put the knife down. Blood started going everywhere. I couldn't breathe. Maybe the blood was in my throat. I felt blood come out of my mouth and I started to gag. I heard the door open and Gray stood there shocked. "Natsu?!" He shouted. He rushed to my side and saw the knife. "I'm calling an ambulance." He said and went to grab his phone. Why is he ruining this?! This was my only chance. After about a minute Gray came back in and he was crying his eyes out.

"You did this to yourself didn't you?!" He asked. I have blood in my throat mate, I can't speak. A ton of blood came out of my mouth and he panicked. I looked at the door and Luna came in. She started barking and Gray looked stressed. He pushed her out of the bathroom and slammed the door. She stopped barking and waited patiently at the door. I started to feel tired and weak. I tried to keep my eyes open but it was just so hard. "Stay with me Natsu." Gray said and put his hand on my cheek. I looked at him and almost fainted. I fell into his arms and he was crying even more. "Don't go." He sobbed. I couldn't move anymore. I was so weak. (Not me now thinking of the song weak)

Gray's POV

"Natsu, I love you, please don't leave me." I cried. He coughed and blood went all over my shirt. "I love you." My voice cracked. "And I needed you but you wasn't there for me." He said in a really weak voice. I felt so bad. He needed me. I should've helped him. I was just stood at the door before coming to safe him. I am such an idiot. I heard banging at the door and I layed Natsu carefully before getting up. I ran to the door and the ambulance people came in. I pointed to the bathroom and they all went in. One of the people came out and stood in front of me.

"How did this happen?" They asked. "He did it to himself." I whispered. The person was shocked and nodded their head. They went back into the bathroom and told everyone. I saw them take Natsu into the ambulance and they drove off. I sat on a chair and cried. "Why Natsu..." I whispered. I will probably have to tell the guild. But should I? What if he dies? They will need to know. Mainly the ones close to him. I got out of the chair and put Luna on a lead. I headed to the guild and slowly opened the doors. I walked towards Wendy and gave her the dog. "Look after her please." I said and saw Erza. I walked towards her and she raised an eyebrow.

"What's wrong Gray?" She asked. I looked down and she started to get worried. "Natsu tried to kill himself." I cried. She immediately hugged me and I burst into tears. Everyone looked at us and I split the hug. They were probably looking at my shirt as there was blood on me everywhere. "I need to tell Master." I whispered and went into Gramps' office. I didn't bother to knock. I felt numb. I didn't care about anything. "Gray?" Master said. "Natsu attempted suicide." I said and he looked angry. He got up and went downstairs. I followed him and he went towards Erza. "Which hospital?" He asked me. "I don't know..." I whispered. "Let's find out." Erza said and we all walked out of the guild. Once we arrived at the hospital we looked around and eventually found the room that Natsu was in.

"How did he do it?" Erza asked. "He cut his neck." I whispered. She looked at my shirt and sighed. "You need to have a shower so go home." She said. I shook my head and she looked at the floor. "At least go eat something." "No, I'm staying here, you can't make me go home, I won't let you." I said. Gramps sighed and seemed to be even more angry. I ignored it and fell asleep on the chair.
