Puppy

Gray's POV

I woke up and got dressed. I looked at Natsu and he was hugging Luna in his sleep. I smiled and headed to the guild. On the way there I noticed a puupy that wouldn't stop following me. There was a note in it's collar and I took it out. Why do I keep finding things?

'Dear whoever reads this,

Please take care of this dog. Her name is Cara. She is only a puppy so please don't mistreat her.

I looked at the puppy and she was playing in the mud. I picked her up and took her back to my house. (I was listening to we don't talk anymore and when it says you won I heard it as you Ban 😂😂) I looked at Luna and she was still sleeping so I slowly closed the door, trying not to make a sound. I put the puppy on the floor and she ran towards the food bowl. She ate a lot of it and then started drinking the dirty water. I picked the bowl up and put clean water in it. She started drinking it and then I heard the door open. I saw Natsu look confused as hell.

"Gray?" He said. I looked at the puppy and then back at him. "I found it." I said and he nodded his head. He closed the door behind him and walked towards the dog. She sniffed him and continued to drink the water. "Why do I keep finding things?" I asked and he laughed. "I guess you're just magic." He said and put the kettle on. "What is it's name?" He asked. "Cara." I replied. "So I'm guessing it's a girl." "Yeah." I said and the puppy started scratching at my legs. I picked her up and she licked my face. I could see Natsu smiling in the corner of my eye.

"Can she stay with us?" I asked. "I mean it's your house so you can do what you want." He answered. "It's your house too." I said. He smiled and came towards me. He stroked the dog and she licked his hand. He smiled even more and continued to wait for the kettle to boil. "I don't mind." He said and I put Cara down. She ran towards Natsu and started licking his leg. He bent down to stroke her and she started licking his arms. He was wearing a t-shirt and I could clearly see that she was licking his scars. He stroked her again and then the kettle finally finished boiling. (That kettle must've had a lotta water in it)

Natsu cooked some noodles and started to eat them. He had to sit at the table as Cara kept trying to eat his food. "How do we get Luna to accept Cara?" I asked. "We'll make them meet in a field or someone so it's not Luna's territory." He answered. I was shocked at how good of an idea that was. "Do you want to do it now?" He asked and I nodded my head. I picked Cara up and went to the field. I had a lot of people come over to me and stroke her which she loved. She is adorable.

Cara:

Natsu's POV

I watched Gray leave the house with Cara so I went into our bedroom and woke Luna up. She followed me a into the kitchen so I clipped the lead on her collar. I took her to the field (Idk if Americans know what that is but it's just a lotta grass) and could see Gray in the distance. I clipped the lead off of Luna and she ran towards him. I followed her and she started sniffing (Why did autocorrect change that to snogging 😂😂) his arms. She tilted her head and sat down. He slowly put Cara down who hid behind Gray's legs. Luna stood up and jumped up on me. She put her paws on my stomach and I stroked her head. She got down and slowly walked over to Cara. She licked her and Cara ran behind my legs. Luna chased her so I picked Cara up. She was whining so I stroked her to calm her down but I guess that didn't work as she bit me.

"She bit me!" I raised my voice and Gray took her out of my arms. I wasn't bleeding but it still hurt. Luna started growling so I clipped the lead on her. She tried to run to Gray but I didn't let her. "We'll just have to separate them for tonight." I said and he nodded his head. "But we'll walk home together so they can get used to each others scents." I added and he came towards me. Luna kept trying to jump up at Gray every so often on the way back home. When we got there we put Luna in our bedroom and let Cara run around the rest of our house.

"Natsu." I heard Gray say from behind me. I turned around to and raised an eyebrow. "You're gonna have to sleep with Luna tonight so she doesn't feel left out." He said and I nodded my head. Wait a minute. "What about you?" I asked. "I'm gonna sleep with Cara as she will need the toilet in the night." He said. "So will Luna." I added. "Oh yeah." He said and I laughed. "Plus, you don't even know what you're doing." I said and he laughed as well. "True." He said and I saw Cara trying to open the fridge. I walked over to her and picked her up. "You need to learn how to keep an eye on her 24/7." I said. "How did you know what she was doing?" He asked. "Magic." I said and put the puppy down. "I'm just kidding, I can hear her." I said and Gray looked slightly shocked. "Also when a puppy randomly goes missing they're probably doing something wrong." I added and saw Cara run into the bathroom. I followed her and she was trying to get in the toilet. I pushed her away and closed the lid. I picked her up and put her on the sofa. She started chewing the cushion so I put her on the floor.

"It's getting late." Gray said and I nodded my head. "Go sleep with Luna, I don't want you to be tired." I said. "Wait what?" "Cara will probably be active at night and then need the toilet and be active again." I said and he nodded his head. "You sure you wanna stay with her tonight?" He asked. I nodded my head and he opened the bedroom door. "Goodnight." He said. "Goodnight." I said back and he went into the room. He closed the door behind him and I smiled. I grabbed a blanket and put in on the sofa. I looked at Cara and she was scratching the carpet. I picked her up and put her on the dog bed in the corner. She jumped out of it and ran into the bathroom. I followed her and she was trying to get in the sink. I laughed and picked her up again. I took her back into the living room and ran to shut (I accidentally put shit lol) the bathroom door. This is gonna be a long night.
