I had my cast removed so I was finally allowed to drive. I walked into school and found Jade at her locker.

"Well someone's in a good mood this morning. How many coffees have you drank?" Jade asked.

"Just the one in my uncasted hand and the movie I worked on breaking my hand just dropped so I got paid and I'm happy." I said. Cat walked over to us.

"Hi, Jade and Tyler." Cat said.

"Hey." Jade said.

"Sup." I said.

"You want to do something fun with me tomorrow night?" Cat asked.

"I'm down." I said.

"Why are you down?" Cat asked.

"I'm up for hanging out." I said.

"Jade?" Cat asked.

"Sure, what?" Jade asked.

"I don't know. I figured you'd pick because you're bossy." Cat said.

"Don't say I'm bossy!" Jade yelled causing me to jump.

"Okay! But you are, a little bit." Cat said.

"Whatever. Yeah, let's hang out tomorrow night." Jade said.

"Okay, but we can't invite Tori to come with us because she's..." Cat cut herself off and pulled a weird face.

"What's Tori doing tomorrow night?" Jade asked.

"Nothing! I don't know. She told me not to tell you." Jade said. Jade started counting down.

"Five!" 

"Oh, God!" Cat said.

"Four!" 

"Don't count!" Cat said.

"Three!" 

"Oh, I love three!" Cat said.

"Two!" 

"Have you heard about the new Pear Pads with a slightly better screen?" Cat asked.

"One!" 

"Okay, okay! Tori and Beck are going out together." Cat said.

"What?" Jade and I said.

"But it's not a date. They're just hanging out as friends." Cat said.

"Okay, well, I know what we are doing tomorrow night." Jade said.

"Going to see the big bone?" I asked.

"No!" Jade said.

"Good cause that sounds like a snooze fest.

"We're gonna find out where Tori and Beck are going and see, whether or not they're just friends." Jade said closing her locker.

"I thought you said I could pick what we do." Cat said.
