The door to the pool house opens and Kat walks through the door. She heads over to me and says. "Do you want to come to the office with me?"

"Sure, let me change into something appropriate." I go through the closet looking for a skirt and a t-shirt. When I come across one I like I put it on and then walk to the living room where my sister is waiting for me.

Kat has her keys in her hands and her black bag is sling over her shoulder. She takes my hand and we walk outside.

Unlocking the car we climb inside and then Kat's pulling out of the driveway. It doesn't take too long before we're heading to the building that Kat works at.

When we get to the parking lot of Whitehall industries Kat parks her car close to the president's car spot.

Kat and I climb out of the car and we head towards the elevator. She presses the button and we wait for it to arrive in the basement.

When it does we step inside and Kat presses the button for the 30th floor. The elevator goes up and it doesn't take long until it reaches the 30th floor.

Kat grabs my hand as we step out of the elevator. We walk towards her desk in the middle of the top floor.

There's two desk close to each other and I see Chad's parents sitting behind the tables.

Mrs Whitehall stands up and she hugs Kat. "Hey, Kat. It's going to see you." She looks over at me and a smile spreads across her face. "You must be Katrina's sister, Eliza. It's nice to meet you."

A smile spreads across my face. "You too, Mrs Whitehall."

"Please, call me Gail." She points to her husband. "And that's Mitch. My husband."

Just then the door to the office opens and Chad steps out. "Kat," he moves over to her and hugs her. "I'm glad you're here." He steps away from her and looks in my direction. "Hi, Eliza." His face turns a little red.

"Hi, Mr Whitehall."

"Nah ah, you're never going to call me that again, sweet cheeks. Just call me Chad. You can refer to me as Mr Whitehall when you're on the phone." Turning towards my sister he says. "Why didn't you tell me you were bringing, Eliza?"

"It was a last-minute decision. Kat wanted to show me the office because I told her I was afraid to start working here on Monday." I tell him.

Mitch stands up and looks in my direction. "You don't have anything to fear when it comes to my son. He's one of the best men you'll ever meet."

"You're being biased, father. You're trying to talk me up as I'm your son." Chad throws his arms around his shoulders. "I'm glad you're helping me try to win sweet cheeks over." He winks at me.

Damn, he looks fine doing that.

Kat moves over to me and wraps her arms around me. "My sister is great. You know what I would love?"

"What?" Mrs Whitehall asks.

"That these two go out. They'll make the perfect match." Then she continues talking me up in front of Chad's parents and they seem to be taking in all her words.

She knows how to sell things to people.

Mrs Whitehall, Mr Whitehall and Kat all talk about Chad and me while we're both standing there with them. Chad tilts his head to the side indicating us to go into the office. While everyone is distracted I follow Chad into the office and he closes the door behind us.

Chad sits in his seat and points to the one across from him. "Take a seat, Eliza. I would like to talk to you about something."

"Sure," I move over to the chair and sit across from him. I look at all the degrees he has on the wall. Close to them are photos of his family and friends. A picture of my Kat and Sebastian's wedding is sitting on the wall. It has both Chad and me in it. His eyes are on me. Getting up I walk over to the picture. "This is the first time I've seen this photo."

He stands up and walks over to me. "You're a beautiful woman, Eliza. Even then I thought so, but I wasn't ready to be involved with someone and then when I was ready it turns out I lost my chance because you were with someone."

Now we're in limbo. I just don't know when I'll be ready to let someone in my heart.

Turning towards him I ask. "What do you want to talk about, Chad? Does it have anything to do about me filling out forms before I start working here?"

"No, Kat's already filled out most of that for you. She knows everything about you. I know you're sister told me that you and the baby are fine, but I'd like to hear it from you."

A smile spreads across my face, as I place my hand on my stomach. "We're fine, Chad. Thanks for asking though. Is Kat the only one that works on this floor with you?"

"No, there are a few people that work in office's close to us. You won't see them too much. However, I should warn you about Lisa. She's a bit..." he stops for a moment, trying to figure out how to talk about an employee.

"A bit too much? Is she rude? Or does she rub people up the wrong way?" I ask, looking at him.

"She rubs people up the wrong way. I'm sure you'll have a run-in with her while you're working here. Ask Kat how she deals with her. I know she'll give you some good tips." He looks at the door and says. "Should we see how they're fairing without us being in the room with them?"

"Yes, we should. I don't want them to start rumours about us. Even though this is your place of work." Standing up I move over to the door and open it.

When we step out of the room I see Kat on the phone, doing her job. A smile spreads across her face as she looks at us.

I bet she's got some crazy thoughts about us running through her mind. It wouldn't be the first time she did.

Walking over to Kat's desk I pick up a pen and the notebook. I write her a quick note.

Kat,
I'm heading out. I'll see you back here at 5 pm.

Love

Eliza

Dropping the notepad on the desk I say 'Goodbye' to the Whitehall's before I head for the elevators. I press the button and wait for it to arrive on the 30th floor. After a couple of minutes, the door opens revealing a blonde with blue eyes. She doesn't look too happy that there's another person on this floor. Crossing her arms she stares daggers at me before rudely saying. "Who the hell are you?"

Making my voice sound surgery I say. "I'm Narnia."

Her face screws up. "Narnia?"

"Yeah, as in non your business. I'll be seeing you around, Lisa."
