Chad's POV
Walking into the office I see Kat sitting behind her desk and she has the phone up to her ear. She waves at me as I enter my office.
She's early today? Maybe, she's getting a head start on the things that her sister was supposed to do this morning.
Eliza couldn't come in early today as she had an appointment with the therapist.
I hope the appointment goes well for her.
Pulling the seat out from behind the desk I sit down and start the computer. Kicking my feet on the table I tip the chair back and close my eyes for a moment. For the last couple of nights, I haven't been sleeping well because Eliza hasn't been by my side.
There's a light tap on the door and I look over at it. "Come in, Kat." She opens the door and steps into the room. She moves a piece of hair out of her face. "What can I do for you Kat?"
A smile spreads across her face. "Do you remember the time you said that you'll help Eliza out if she decides to start up a business?"
"Of course. How can I forget that? Is she starting her business?"
"Yes, she's got contracts. Do you know if anyone from recruitment can check out people that may have a chance at working with Eliza in accounting?"
"I'll get my top recruiter onto it and I'll let people know about the new job opportunity." Turning back to my computer I start to write an email to the recruitment department of my company. "Can you order lunch today? I don't have time to go out with Eliza and you."
"Sure, I'll set the conference room up for us when the time for lunch comes." She walks out of the room, closing the door behind her.
A woman walks into the office and she has a conversation with Kat. She laughs at something that's been said.
My phone starts to ring and I pick it up.
Me: hello?
Kat: I have Josephine from Hartman Co.
Me: Send her to the conference room and I'll be there in five.
Kat: Okay,
Kat hangs up the phone and she leads Josephine to the conference room.

Dear Sue,
Can you look into recruiting more people for accounting? I have a company that's moving into the floor below and I want more people to help complete it. Make sure they know what they're doing and maybe hire some interns. That way they can learn from some of the senior people of the company.
Regards
Chad Whitehall
Pressing send I wait for the ding that happens after sending a message. I stand up and move away from the computer. Grabbing my laptop, notepad and pen I head in the direction of the conference room.
When I walk through the door I see Josephine with a cup and she brings it up to her lips. She puts the cup down and looks towards me. "Hi, Josephine. I'm Chad."
She stands up and holds her hand out to me. "It's nice to meet you."
Placing mine in hers I shake her hand. Then I drop it and sit on the chair opposite hers. "What can I do for you today, Josephine?"
"I'm looking for a building to start my company in and I know there's a few that you have available. I'm after a floor for my company as it's just a Start-Up. I've read a few articles about you and that's the type of success that I want to have with my company." she pulls a folder out from her bag and slides it across the table. "This is the rough estimate of how much the start-up is bringing and I'm hoping you have a building that will cover the estimate I make."
Pulling open the folder I go through it and see what the profits are. She's making a lot of money. So, it will be easy to give her the floor of one of the buildings. I could give her one in this building, but there are other things that I want to see in it. I have another building about fifteen minutes from here that has a law firm in it.
I'll put her in it. She'll meet a great bunch of people there too as most of the floors there is taken.
There's a knock on the conference door before the door opens revealing a woman that looks like Josephine. "Jo, what are you doing here? I told you I'd find a place. We don't need some rich guy giving us a handout."
Josephine looks at her sister and says. "I'm not asking for a handout. There's one thing I know for a fact and that's I don't want to run my business through a factory that's fallen apart with rats and mice running through it."
Standing up I look at the two women. "I'll give you two some time to talk about this." Opening the door I walk out of the room. As I walk down the corridor I see Sue heading towards Kat.
Kat smiles at her and says. "Hi, Sue. What can I do for you?"
She looks around the foyer. "Is Chad in the office?"
"No, he's in a meeting right now. I'll let him know that you came by."
Making myself heard I say. "Now is good for us to talk, Sue. Follow me to the office." I lead the way to the office. Pulling my seat away from the desk I sit. Leaning forward I look at the recruiter and ask. "Did you do what I asked?"
"Yes," she pulls a folder out and puts it on my desk. "I went through some of our old applications and reached out to them. It's up to them if they want to accept the job. Why are we hiring more people for that job? We have people in a department that deals with them."
"I'm using this company for other financial things. I own other companies that aren't tied to this one and I want someone with fresh eyes to take a look at my books."
Sue stands up and looks me in the eyes. "Be careful with whoever is taking on your books. Not everyone can be trusted. Good luck with the group of people that I've recommended for the job." She walks over to the door and walks through it.
Standing up I walk out of my office and over to Kat. Who hangs up the phone at that moment? "Did Sue come through with the people she'd hire for Eliza's firm?"
A smile spreads across my face. "Of course she did." Hearing movement close to the desk I look over and see Eliza kneeling eavesdropping on our conversation. "Hey, Eliza. How long have you been standing there?"
I think she was standing there long enough to hear most of the conversation.
