The phone rings and I pick it up. "Hello, Whitehall Industries. Eliza speaking." I shift around on my chair trying to get comfortable. Spending three hours behind a desk isn't something that I'm used to doing. I push the chair back and wait for the caller to speak.

Voice: Hello, I'm Maxwell Miller and I have a business proposition to run through with Chad Whitehall. He told me that I could call him anytime.

Me: Can I put you on hold? I'll see if he has a couple of minutes for you.

Putting the call on hold I put myself through to Chad's line. His phone rings a couple of times before he answers.

Chad: Hello, this is Chad.

Me: Hi, Chad. I have a guy named Maxwell Miller on the other line. He a business proposition that he wants to run by you.

Chad: Tell him I'm out of the office right now. When I return I'll give him a call. Also, if he calls back ever again tell him that I'm permanently unavailable. I met him once at a party while I was drinking and I stupidly invested in a company that was bust in the first month the business started up. Since then I haven't done anything reckless again. I lost a lot of money to him.

Me: Okay, let him know. Before I go, can you give me a list of names of people that you don't want me to put through and I'll make sure that they won't be able to reach you?

Chad: Thanks, Eliza. I appreciate the help you're giving me. I'll see you at lunch with Kat.

Me: Okay, bye.

Ending the call I take Maxwell off hold and say. "Hi, Maxwell. Unfortunately, Mr Whitehall has stepped out of the office. Can I get your number and we'll call you back?"

Maxwell: He's not going to call me back and now I know that I'm wasting my time when it comes to him helping me out with the company.

Me: I have to go I have another call coming through.

Maxwell: Bullshit, I know you're lying to me again. You don't want to talk to me.

Me: Bye,

He starts cursing me out and I hang up the phone.

My heart begins racing and I look over at my sister, who's on the phone. "Kat," she looks over at me. "I need to go for a walk. Do you need anything?"

"Can you get me a bottle of water from the kitchen?"

"Sure," putting the headset on the table I start to leave the table and stop as Kat begins to talk to me.

Kat looks at the time and then says. "Just be careful Lisa will be in there. She tends to do her best work in there with a few employees."

Scrunching up my face I say. "That's disgusting. I hope I don't walk into anything when I get there." I head down the hall. That has the name of the building on it and a few pictures of what the building looked like when it was opened in 1926, by a relative of Chad's.

When I get close to the kitchen I hear Lisa moan, before she says. "Get dressed. I hear someone coming down the hall and I think it's the direction of Chad's office. Which means if two people are coming this way and I don't want them to see me like this."

The door opens before I reach it revealing a guy with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a six-pack on display and his face turns a little red. "I spilt coffee on the shirt and I need to get a new one."

Raising my eyebrows at him I say. "I didn't say anything. Hurry up and get changed nobody wants to see all that on display when you're supposed to work. When you come to the office it's to work and not get laid by some woman in the kitchen." I open the door to the kitchen and see Lisa sitting on the table close to the kettle. Ignoring her I grab two bottles of water out.

"You can't drink those. It's for employees and not visitors." She jumps off the counter and moves towards me. "Give me those."

"No," I narrow my eyes at her. "I work here too. I'm not going to allow you to bully me. I'm going to leave now and if you follow me there's going to be a shit storm brewing. I hope you want some trouble coming your way."

She crosses her arms. "I'm going to talk to Chad about you."

Opening the door I hold it open for her. "After you. I'll meet you in his office in a couple of minutes. I need to go for a walk." I continue down the hall and look around the office for a bit. When I've had enough I head back to my desk and see Lisa leaning over Kat's table and talking to her.

Kat looks up and smiles at me. She holds her hand out for the bottle. "Thanks." She takes it from me, while I sit at mine. "See this is Eliza's desk. She's working closely with me until it's time for me to give birth.

Her eyes narrow and Kat. "You're not the only one pregnant. I can see that Eliza is too. The question is why would the boss hire her to work for us when she won't be here for long? The benefits can't be that good for someone who hasn't worked here for long. There won't be maternity leave available for you, which means you're a waste of space."

Chad's office door opens at that moment. "GET IN HERE NOW, LISA." Chad yells, which shows a vein in his neck popping out.

She's in trouble. I have a feeling that my sister called Chad while she was at the desk talking about me and when it got to that last part he wasn't impressed.

Lisa smirks at me. "He's hotter when he's all growly. Having sex with him is much better he's like this too. You're going to need earplugs to block out all the moaning that'll come out of my mouth when I'm bent over his desk. Him fucking me hard. The desk is going to be destroyed and then you're going to be on your hands and knees cleaning up all the fucking mess. Including the condom that's going to drip from the amount of cum that's inside and..."

Fuck, this girl is disgusting.

Under the table, my hands form into fists.

I want to teach this bitch a lesson. One that will be imprinted in her head.

"NOW," Chad seems to be losing his patients with her. Stepping aside he allows her into the room and his face smooths out as he looks at me. Shaking his head he closes the door and moves over to his desk.

"Come here," Kat whispers. She hits the loudspeaker on the phone and we listen to the conversation that's happening in the office right now.

Chad: I heard everything that you said to Kat and it was disrespectful.

Lisa: How is it disrespectful when it's the truth?

I hope he chews her out for the things she's said about me and about the way he runs the company.
