Katrina and I made our appointments for the ultrasounds on the same day and around the same time which worked out perfectly for us. As both Chad and Sebastian took a couple of hours off work to accompany us. Chad's been looking forward to seeing the baby since we started dating.

Chad pulls the car into the parking lot and we climb out. He holds his hand to me and I take it. We walk towards the door of the main entrance. Before we enter the building I see my sister standing next to her husband.

She moves over to me and wraps her arms around me. "Are you looking forward to seeing the gender of your child?"

A smile spreads across my face. "Yes, I am." I step into Chad's arms and look at him. "I want you to come with me into the room." I move his hand on top of my stomach. "I know this child isn't yours, but I want you to be a part of every moment."

He leans down and captures my lips with his. Pulling away a smile spreads across his face, lighting up his entire face. "I would love to be a part of it. Are you sure?"

Nodding my head I say. "Of course I am. You're the one that's going to be a father to my child and I can't imagine a better man for that job. I love you, Chad."

"I love you, too, Eliza." He leads the way through the door and we head towards the ultrasound area. When we get there Katrina and I check in and then sit next to our partners.

The worst part about ultrasounds is that you need to have a full bladder before getting it done and I have the need to pee badly. It doesn't take too long before the doctor comes out and calls Katrina's name.

She stands up and takes Sebastian's hand. "We'll see you soon. I can't wait to see your ultrasound picture when it's done." She follows the doctor through the door.

Chad wraps his arms around me. "Do you want a boy or a girl?"

Looking at him I say. "All I want is a healthy child. Gender isn't important to me. I'm going to love this child with all my heart."

"We're going to be good parents to this child. When the right time comes I want us to move in together."

"My house is big enough for us and any other children we want in the future."

"You want more children?"

"Of, course. Do you want some of your own?"

"With you, I want as many as you want."

"Eliza Donoghue." The nurse calls my name and I stand up.

Taking Chad's hand I lead him towards the door that leads down a hall to a row of rooms. "Let's go." We follow the nurse to the room and step inside. Climbing onto the bed I lie down and wait for the doctor to walk into the room.

It doesn't take long before the doctor walks into the room and she pulls her chairs towards me. She smiles at me. "How are you feeling today, Eliza?"

"I'm good. Just looking forwards to seeing the baby and finding out what I'm having."

She looks over at Chad and says. "Is he the reason why you didn't want to know what you were having the previous times you were here?"

"No," I hold my hand out to Chad and he takes it, standing next to me. "He isn't the reason. I wasn't ready to know what I was having and now I am."

The doctor grabs the gel and says. "This is going to be cold." Then she pours some of the gel onto my stomach. She grabs the wand and moves it around my stomach until she finds the baby. "There it is." I see my baby on the screen and then I look up at Chad. "You're having a girl."

I hope she looks like me and not her no-good father.

Chad squeezes my hand. "Now, we know what colour to paint the nursery and things to put in the room before she gets here. She's going to be one spoilt little girl." He kisses my lips.

"I'll get your pictures printed for you." She puts the wand back onto the machine and gives me some tissues. She walks out of the room.

Cleaning up my stomach I stand up and grab my purse from the chair. "We should grab lunch before heading into the office. I'm starving."

Chad throws his head back and laughs. "It's weird hearing you say that. It's normally me that says 'I'm starving' looks like I'm rubbing off on you."

"You are." I step closer to him and wrap my arms around his neck. "Kiss me, now."

Chad's places his lips on mine and kisses me like it's our last day on earth, He lifts me and places me back on the bed.

The door opens and the doctor says. "I have you're..." she cuts herself off as she sees us.

Pushing Chad away I say. "Let's pick this up later. Maybe, in the office at work?"

He shakes his head. "We have a lot of work to do. How about once all the work is finished that we do it."

"Okay," I step off the bed and grab the pictures from the doctor. "Thanks, and I'm sorry about that. We're happy to find out what we're having." Opening the door I walk out with Chad by my side.

As soon as we walk out the doors I see my sister and she moves quickly over to me. "How did go? Are you having a boy or girl?"

"It's a girl."

"Our girls are going to be best friends growing up. I can't wait to see both of them grow up together and go to school."

"I have to pee." I blurt out and my sister laughs.

Katrina loops her arms through mine and we head straight for the women's toilets. As soon as we make it inside we use the toilets. When I'm done I wash my hands and lean against the sink, waiting for my sister to finish.

"Hurry up, Katrina. I want something to eat before we head back to the office."

She unlocks the stall door and looks at me. "I'm not going back to the office. I took the day off remember. It's only Chad and you going back to work, but I think Sebastian and I will have lunch with you." She washes her hands and then moves over to the drier to dry them. Opening the door we step out of the woman's toilets.

I'm right behind Katrina. She moves to the side and my eyes land on someone across from me. Grabbing Katrina I move her in front of me as I whisper. "Austin's here. I don't want him to see me pregnant. This child isn't going to know him until I think it's the right time."

"Okay, I'll make sure that you're covered until we get away from here."

Austin takes a step closer to us and he looks at me. "Hey, Eliza. What are you doing here?"
