Walking out of the house I join Kat and Evelyn. I hug both of them before saying. "I'm ready."
Evelyn shakes her head. "I knew all three of you were standing there giving us some time to ourselves. You're a very selfless girl, Eliza. Good things should happen to you."
A smile spreads across my face. "I'm sure it's happening right now, Evelyn." I take her arm and we make our way to the conference room where she has the room set up with documents and people in suits are sitting around a table.
Kat stops at the door and looks between Evelyn and me. "What's going on, Grandma?"
Evelyn holds her hand out to my sister and says. "Come in. There's a lot I want to talk to you and your sister about."
"Okay," Kat takes hold of her and we're pulled into the room. We're lead to seats and then Evelyn turns towards us.
She looks towards a male with slightly greying hair, he has facial hair covering his face and when he smiles you can see dimples at the side of his mouth. "Can you play a video in a minute?"
"Of course, Evelyn."
It seems like she doesn't want anyone to call her Mrs When I met Evelyn she told me to call her that and it's hard for me to call someone by their name when my mother taught me it was polite.
Evelyn stands between Kat and me and says. "Having you two women enter my life has been a blessing. I'm proud of the stuff you've overcome to be the woman you are today. In saying that. I want to give you my company when I pass away."
Kat shakes her head. "No, Grandma. We can't take that from the family. You should give it to someone else."
She takes Kat's hand. "I've been through all members of my family trying to find the perfect pair to run this company and I keep coming up empty-handed." Pointing towards us she adds. "With you two the company will still be in the family. Kat, you've had my Great Grandchildren and..." she looks at me. "Eliza, you're kids are going to be adopted Great Grandchildren to me. Because I think of you as part of my family."
Kat opens and closes her mouth a couple of time before saying. "Have you spoken to Bas about this?"
Evelyn doesn't flinch when she answers my sister honestly. "No, I haven't. What happens with this company and hotel is up to me. I'm in the right frame of mind too. I'm not sick or anything. I just know who I want to take on the business. Sebastian's too busy to take on a place like this. Besides, it's not like you or Eliza want to spend the rest of your lives being a secretary for one of the richest men in the city."
That's is something I don't want to forever. I'd like to experience different things too. Just right now I'm going to stick to having a job while I'm pregnant. Even though I don't need to work because of the money I have set aside.
When the time is right I was going to ask Kat to help me start up a company. One that we used to talk about when we were kids. I still have the plans in the safe at Mom and Dad's place.
Kat looks at Evelyn. "I love where I work. I'm also making my way up the corporate ladder too with Chad's company."
"Why would you want to do that?" Evelyn asks. "When you can be the woman behind the scenes at this vineyard. I have a lot of people that do all the work for me and I have time for everything I used to do."
Why is Kat making this harder for Evelyn? She just wants to keep the company in the family without it wasting away.
"Play the movie. I'm sure it will make them change their minds." With that Evelyn moves away from us and takes a seat next to the lawyer. She whispers something in his ear and he nods.
The video plays and we watch it until the end. Kat looks over at me and says. "What do say about running a place like this with me?"
A smile spreads across my face. "It would be great, but I'll do whatever you want to. I think however it would be wrong of us to not take Evelyn up on this and keep it in the family that she lives so much."
"Okay, where do we sign?" Kat moves over to the lawyer and starts signing the paperwork for herself. Once she's done signing it I do the same.
Evelyn hugs us. "Thank you so much for doing this for me. When you get back from your dates I'll have someone prepare a bottle of wine for you."
"Grandma, Eliza and I can't drink. We'd love to take two bottles home with us though."
"Okay," she pulls us in for another hug. Letting us go a smile spreads across her face. "You should spend the rest of the day with your other halves." She shoos us out the door before talking with her lawyers.
Chad and Sebastian round the corner at the same time as us. I crash into Chad and before I can fall on my ass he catches me and steadies me on my feet.
Chad smirks as he says. "I've never had a woman fall at my feet."
I also his chest. "No, you just knock them off it." I point between us. "Just like you did now."
Kat and Sebastian start laughing at our banter. Then Kat ruins the moment by saying. "You're acting like an old married couple."
It doesn't bother me that she's saying this. Sometimes, it's good to act like an old married couple with someone that you can start to care about as time goes by.
Sebastian wraps his arms around my sister and says. "We're going on the picnic. See you later." He lifts Kat and carries her towards the car.
We watch them until the car disappears out of the driveway.
"What do you want to do, Eliza?"
Looking towards the water. "Let's take a swim and hope the alligator isn't too close to us."
"It has a name, Eliza. I'm sure you missed it when Austin and you were in the lake."
I flinch at the reminder of that night.
Austin slides his cock out of me. "Let's take a swim before taking ourselves back to the room where I'll make sweet love to my beautiful, girl."
Holding my hands out to him I say. "I need your help getting up."
He helps me stand and then carries me over to the lake and jumps off the pier with me in my hands.
We land in the water, making a small splash.
I shriek before throwing water at him. "You didn't have to do that, Austin. I could have jumped into the water myself."
"Where's the fun in that." He brushes his lips against mine, kissing me hard and fast.
Wrapping my arms around his neck. "Can you get it up, now?"
"Can I get it up?" He scoffs. "Of course I can get it up. It doesn't take too long when I'm with you. How about me race around the lake before I fuck you near the pier."
"You're on." I start to freestyle across the water and I make sure that he can see every part of me."
Chad and I walk to the lake and we spend the afternoon talking and laughing.
